I enjoyed this movie years ago and i rewatched it recently it still holds up.
Ashley Judd is very intelligent strong talented and a beautiful woman and actress one my favorite
There were moments in this Movie that should have never been in it, it was weird, like some infomercial, right in the middle of the Movie. Even with that weirdness, it was a good Movie with good Moments like when Jack told Ashley that she was real, or when Jack told Ashley that he knocked a hole in the wall after his break up with his Girlfriend. Marissa Tomei was so believable when she tried to make sense of her Boyfriend Cheating on her in another time Zone, when she said "I don't get it, if he was just going to cheat on me, why feed me all of that Romantic Stuff"? I would watch this Movie today, if I had it. Yes, I love this movie. It wasen't so long ago when this movie came out, now, every Movie seems to have the exact same script, demons fighting demons.
I watch the movie regularly. What weird parts - like infomercials? My sole objection - and it's a big one - is that cold Chinese dumplings weren't considered a treat, and were thrown out. (I would have gone into the trash and retrieved them).
Wish the interviews had been longer. ALSO, Marisa Tomei was missing from the interview which I am disappointed about. I came across this video by chance.
Agreed. Never should Marisa Tomei be omitted. Having watched the film 50 times, without her character, this would have been a bland film. (Save for the pectoral shots). I can always manage very well, thank you, without Ellen Barkin's gaggingly-hypersexuality. "Subtle" ain't in the vocabularly of any of her directors.
