To anyone watching this, I pray for you: a heart filled with peace, a mind free from anxiety, a life overflowing with happiness, financial abundance, a healthy and strong body, and a day blessed by God's grace and love.
No need to repeat and make it unnecessarily long. Short stories are preferable and possible for both audio & visuals, giving us time for the one after that.
They killed the rapist and not the victim. But we don't know how it was exactly. Jacob didn't support this cruel murder of the citizens. The girl was in love with the rapist.
Young ladies be careful. Especially as you move to college or pursue a career. I know young people are desperate to make friends. But pray for the future friends you will make. Psalm 91 is needed for all the young people out there. Stay in the safety of the Lord... Rest in His Shadow... Many are filled with demons and trap people by drugging them and taking advantage of them in carnal ways. Be mindful of your surroundings... I love you all...
I wish the Bible told what happened to Dinah (and also Tamar, David's daughter). Did they ever marry & have children? Guess maybe I'll see them someday and ask them!
Dinah was Job's second wife after the death of his first wife, Uzit. She was the mother of his seven sons as well as the three daughters (known as Job's three daughters) when The Lord blessed him at the end of the book of Job.
I like the pronunciation of Dinah it's correct since this is not a movie I have no problem with the repetition because I want to absorb God's word❤😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

Simeon and Levi were the trouble makers of Jacob's sons and were the reason Joseph was dumped in a well and traded off to Egyptians later in Joseph's teenage years.
still...imagine your own father loves your brother over you can anyone bear with it ... we today might slip into total depression ....they did do something wrong ..but it wasnt completely their mistake
They were responding righteously, upholding the Law. Yes, the Law existed prior to Sinai. Dinah was a 12 year old girl, and had been defiled. Jacob experienced a moment of fear. Levi's hubris is exactly why his lineage was appointed to the defense and administration of the Tabernacle and the altar. The strongest and most fierce. Deeper study proves this out, and not the superficial eisigeses coming from the "pull into the pits".
I Also watched “The Red Tent”. But, I read a novel that Dinah became a midwife. She met her Uncle Joseph in Egypt and helped her sister in law have her nephews because she was a midwife (I read in this book). It was a very interesting read. What happened to this Lineage of Dinah,? I do not know… but, I think that Dinah named her son after his father, Sheshem. Anyway, it would be interesting… IN the novel or book, she went into Egypt to get away from her other brothers. The book made sense.
She was their only sister, they loved her, were duty-bound to defend her, and she was no threat to their inheritance. JOSEPH’s constant bragging about his place in the heart of their Father over his brothers made them Jealous. Read your Bible.
@joiisler8986 the point I'm trying to make is they showed so much virtue towards their sister, but were so evil towards their brother. They were just hateful...period. Which is why they got nothing in the end looks like. Thanks for the response though.
@joiisler8986 not really. Because Reuben was the oldest and already in line for his inheritance. He messed that up with Dinah's situation and his father saw that he and Simeon both weren't worthy of their inheritance due to their behavior. It was their behavior that put them out of their inheritance. Not the fear of losing anything. Why would you fear something that is your birth right to have to begin with?????

There is a Midrash which states that Dinah became pregnant from Shechem and bore a daughter. (Elsewhere the Talmud (Sanhedrin 69b) observes that in Biblical times people were able to bear children at much younger ages, as they could at much older.) The family was unsure what to do with the baby due to the stigma associated with her, and so they basically left her for adoption, leaving a medallion on a chain on her neck containing God’s name. Eventually the child became the adopted daughter of Joseph’s own Egyptian master Potiphar. This was the same Osnat daughter of Poti Phera whom Joseph subsequently married (Gen. 41:45). Thus, Dinah’s daughter made her way back to the Jewish people, becoming mother to two tribes in Israel (Pirkei d’Rabbi Eliezer 38). According to the Apocrypha, Dinah became Job's second wife after his first wife, Uzit, died. She was also the mother of his seven sons and the three daughters God blessed Job with at the end of the book (Job).

You know as much as this video is informative, you spent a half an hour repeating 5 (Five) times what the problem was, why, cause and effect several different ways. This could have ended at 12 minutes. I only continued to listen to see how many times you could repeat the SAME thing! 😵💫🤭

Thanks for sticking with it, even if it was repetitive!
It's so redundant repeating over and over añd over again the same statements which really takes away from tne story.. This is a constant with all your Bible stories.
The Story just Narrates Who are the Israelites of what we see today. They are protective and don’t like their sisters and mothers to be Raped for and Price. What happened in October 7 was a replica of the story of Dinah and how the brothers retaliated and protected her. The Act of Simeon and Levi of killing all Men of Canaan Tribe, led to the Disappearance of the Canaanites in that Area to date.
B- at best, did she have a child? What did Jacob do for the child? Where did she go? Whom did she wed? Where was the hand of Yeshua in this story? Surely, you must have seen this. Joseph was a Shadow-type of Yeshua & He needed a bride...
It is the Abraham who has a wonderful testimony that God says " I know Abraham will make all his family to obey." He even prayed for the servant maid Hagar and her son before they had been sent out by Sarah. He did everything in decent and order. Because of his prayer they had been saved in the desert. This is not the same with Isaac and also with Jacob for they have failed to make their whole family to obey God. Isaac didnt even know the plan of God and Jacob didnt take decision of his own when Dinah had been seduced. Here Dinah's character or life style nothing had been mentioned elaborately but Jacob's....

The repetition is a bit tedious, and assumes stupidity of the listener. The violent reaction from members of the tribe of Levi erupted again . (Dealing with a concubine wife that was raped to death by tribe of Bingaman and the Levi husband cutting her body to pieces and sending parts to other tribes causing the tribes to slaughter the tribe of Bingaman. There was also a repercussion from this incident in the future of Israel. Not addressed here, I do not recall the specifics at this time. If I were to create a video like this I would site it.
