How many lives are changed by the presence of one man? Hundreds? Thousands? It's hard to say but Matt is one of those men that touches the souls of those around him in a positive light. God Bless You Matt...❤
You put down the words I was just thinking.
Thank you both!!
Like his father before him 😎♥️🇨🇦👌🍻
Everyone loves the work you put in and a lasting legacy of your dad buddy
Who knows, the bikes owner may donate the ride to the museum someday?
I almost cried while watching this video. Reminds me so much of my childhood days in our country, the Philippines. My dad has a Harley repair shop business in the early 50's and I grew up riding those sidecars as our main transpo. They're usually painted red like the one in the video, my dad;s favorite color, I presumed. By the age of 16 in the 60's I, together with my other big brothers was already doing harley repair works, engine overhaul and body works. My dad likes them as original as possible and even the smallest screw should be harley certified part. I learned a lot from him how values the every details of being a harley mechanic. I really missed those days.
Seeing Matt work is amazing - speed and accuracy. And he’s great with the people.
You do know it's speeded up? 😂
like a virtuoso pianist
Y'all have me hooked ! I saw my first bike with a tank shifter was in my teens. I can't get enough of this stuff.
Love seeing those old bike ridden! Great job! Beautiful!
Thanks. Well told, better edited. (Imho) I am recovering from a stroke ( lived) all things that are” returned to normal “ fill me with hope. Merry Christmas!

DON'T FLOOD IT! Love this guy. He has his father's spirit.
What a Stunning Machine… oh and brilliant Mechanic too. Good job.
It's amazing to watch you knock out such a huge project. You guys do amazing work, and it shows how much you love doing it.
What a beautiful bike! I’m so glad that people like you exist, folks that can save these works of art
What a great combination. I am a big fan of motorcycles with sidecars and this one is really beautiful. You really helped that neighbor quite a bit...he must be a happy man with the revival of this beautiful machine. Well done guys.
Congratulations Matt on another successful build. Your dad would be very proud.
That's one nice old Ride! It looks beautiful 😊😊😊❤❤❤
You fellas are artists. Sincerely!
Way awesome seeing these great old bikes still driving. Mines only a 99 but I'm liking it's still going strong
That was way cool!!! Great work as always!!!
I have always loved the older motorcycles. Now because of you guys I appreciate them more because every time I watch a video from you I learn something new. It is so cool how good they were designed and how user friendly they are. Really hope to have one that you and your team built someday that would be the best.
Check out our raffle for the 1936 Knucklehead!!
@@wheelsthroughtime already have tickets for 2024. Got them to sooth the loss of the most perfect bike for me the 2023 raffle bike.I would have rode the wheels off that one.
I love this episode. Nothing separates the men from the boys like RUST and filthy flood water. GREAT JOB! NO FEAR!!!
love watching your work great job
i am a retired plumber and would love to have a bike that runs like these bikes
That's awesome for you all to offer your skills and expertise to get that gorgeous bike back in the wind for Stan❤
Great video guys and fabulous old bike. Can’t get over the fact you got her totally rebuilt in 80 hours……no substitute for passion and knowledge 🏴
Excellent video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic job!
Simply a project named Oof. I love to watch you wrench Matt but I dont envy this one at all. Best of luck and may the gods of speed be with you. Cheers!
I never knew Harley made a flathead beyond 36, Now I have a whole new outlook on flatheads and I am becoming a big fan. I have been around bikes my whole life and never knew it I am a flatheader now. I had Triumphs Nortons and BSA's and Harleys when I was finally able to afford one we would get a 900 iron head Sportster and though we were hot stuff.😂
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Outstanding rebuild, you guys are awesome! Merry Christmas🎄
Amazing work, great channel guys 👌
So beautiful to see that vintage iron back on the road.
We think so too!
Bringing the best back to life. Thanks Matt!

Stan has a pretty neat workshop, grit blaster and all
He’s a fukin fool, let that bike flood twice and then let’s it sit for ten years

Great story! Great ending......well done and Merry Christmas!
Great job guys, beautiful old bike, I can’t believe how big the valves are in those flat heads.
It's a joy to watch the master at work.
Love seeing how you do these. You are an artist!
Great job fellas happy for Stan !!!
🙌... that was fantastic Mr. ! 🇺🇸
Beautiful bike, great to see it on the road again.
I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a great new year.
Also, you know how Sean has a picture of his face on a shirt from bikes and beards? I think you should make a shirt with WTT on it and an outline of your face in white on a black shirt, I would 100% buy that!!! I’m so in love with your videos please continue to post working on Bikes. It is awesome!
Gotta be with the sunglasses on your head too!! Classic matt look!!
This was one of the best rebuilds I’ve seen lately. Thx for all your work Matt. It kept me entertained foresure. Every time you open up a bike you never know what you’re going to be dealing with and this was a big one👍 You are one positive dude.
Awesome job gents love it

Oh man. When that fired I was quite emotional. How excellent.

Lived in St.Augustine for 60+ years. Nice town 40 years ago. Too crowded now.
That was really awesome to observe. Bravo Matt 👏 👏 👏
This is the kind of medical repair show I'd watch every time. Watching professionals in their element is very exciting... You've done a masterful repair on a beautiful machine. Kudos to all who worked on this classic machine... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours...
@wheelsthroughtime just the best video ever to watch on Christmas night!! Beautiful bike and beautiful people. Great job!
That's fantastic great job sounds looks lovely well done 👏 👍
I f*cking love this content , you guys are out here doing the lords work for Harley Davidson. I have came to see you guys multiple times. I can 100% say I’m a huge fan. There needs to be more people like you guys in this world !
That bike looks so much better since it's been rebuilt.
In 86' Napa County had a flood that was horrible. The sanitation department also overflowed into the river. My dad's 58 FLH was under the grips in sludge water. The bike was black when it flooded grey when it dried. The bike wouldn't roll on its own had to use dollies and a tommy lift to put it in a truck bed. Gary Copeland of Fairfield Ca. Rebuilt the motor and trans. Almost a gallon of pure sludge was in the lower end and trans. And five gallons in the 2.5 each tanks (yes incorrect). It took over a year to complete the restoration of it.
well done,done well
Took me about two years to do what you guys do in a day!! pure joy to watch.......
😉
Beautiful bike
Merry Christmas
That was absolutely amazing and a ton of fun to watch!
I love these style of bikes and it sucks because I know I’ll never be able to afford one. Way cooler styling than now days.

How's that Go ( A Man that loves his Job Never Works a Day in his Life) to be able to Do that is a True Blessing! Beautiful Bike Great Job Guys
Great job on recovering a great motorcycle Matt. Wish that we met on my E73 Sportster.
Now, if that is the 2024 give away bike, I'll buy 100 tickets to win that one.... I am a fool for sidecars...
Oh my, that is fugly...complete rebuild, yep and OUCH.
Agreed. I love sidecars.
Unexcusable the condition of that bike! There's tons of inland storage to be found here in Florida for this exact reason. No excuse at all!😮
You guys are awesome. As I restore Vintage Gibson guitars, my appreciation for what you do to Vintage motorcycles is beyond words. ❤
Thanks for watching!!
Very cool Matt. Great job and video. Thanks!
A recent kindergarten graduated from engineering school can do that, child stuff, pure entertainment, enjoy boys.
4 + 3 kicks....
Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends and staff.
I hope you have a great year ahead. 😊
Saved another life
Beautiful
How cool is that!
Your videos make me happy😊
Love watching your videos wish I had 10% of your knowledge.
That is too cool. Reminds me of building my '48 UL that I picked up in Davenport, back in 2016.
Awesome job…Your dad would be proud of you!
WHAT...A...JEWEL...!!! FLIGHT...RED...MY...FAVORITE...COLOR...!!!
such a great guy.
Nice job matt. After all that, he better put alot of miles on that flatty.
Matt. You need to stop the “will it run again” click bait. You’re not fooling anyone. We know you can take a garden ornament rusted solid motor and somehow get it running. You’re not fooling anyone. 😂
Keep it up! Merry Christmas.
Hey! There were some turn signals for my FXRP! That’s the first time in a bunch of videos I’ve seen your FXR. Got to the loose shifter arm tonight and the splines are good! Im the 3rd owner, officer from 93-97, previous until 23 & now my turn.
A British guy who knows old Harley’s in n out
I feel for the bike owner, his 'Pride n Joy' , however this maestro has his orchestra in check, throughout and correct , took it from 'zero to hero' , Stan havin' 'Club Sandwich '✌️ Peace ya"ll
Sweet ride ! Good luck Stan ride safe Brother !!! 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻
Merry Christmas Love your passion.
Great Job Team Matt! That bike is a beauty! I have a photo of my late father in law on a very similar bike right after WWII. It was black and had that same logo on the tank. I need to study it more to see if I can tell which motor was on it.
Time to let Stan know to come up to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the annual "Flood Run". He would be more than welcome.
What I’ve learned watching these videos is that having a bike restored likely costs more in parts and labour than it’s worth. Rethinking any urges I may have had regarding old bikes…
Michael Lange....in the house!
Stan pooped 💩🤬 himself when you lifted the sidecar, and jalapeños on a dog I thought I was the only one, I would loved to have had that bike when my grandkids were young!
I love that your Harley expert has a British accent!!
Steve’s the best!
RIGHT ON !!!!!!
