I have a Dirt Devil Handy Zip, inherited from the MIL. It is brilliant, noisy, but so powerful, really long lead so great for the stairs and the car, also the sofa! My husband was going to chuck it away, but it is the best LOL, and you can still get the bags :)

Paid 50p for a Hess oil paperweight. With a little oil Tanker in acrylic block. It turns out they were issued to Hess executives. In pewter, bronze, silver, gold and platinum. I had a silver one and it sold for £325 to someone in America that had them all apart from a silver one.

All charity shops now, especially in the North East, have cottoned on now to the reseller game and their prices are extremely expensive now, no chance of making a profit on eBay

The honest truth? UA-camrs when asking these questions are really suffering with a condition we call... cant see the wood for all the damn trees! Meaning: Of course resellers are ruining charity shops, but then you need to ask the question of why? and for what reason? And again the youtubers cannot understand they are mainly responsible for the increase in people hunting for stuff in them. Its like a snow blindness or something, where instead of admitting its the problem! They instead say things like, we are just educating people or 'its nothing to do with us that's ludicrous because there's always stuff' or 'you need to up your game' etc etc yadda yadda yadda. (in other words say anything and talk amongst themselves on videos to reassure themselves its not a direct result of what they do) But like I said the real truth is, many people like myself was warning of what would happen for many many years. You think by releasing content teaching what items are worth just helps the reseller? this is delusional! It actually helps all the workers ensure they don't under-price, hence where we are at today. I am sorry if anyone disagrees, but truth is truth, you can stick your fingers in your ears screaming lalalalala as a group of connected people all you want, but again truth is truth.

Before anyone jumps in to say I found this and I found that as a one off to justify its not true, you have to remember one thing, before the rise of the youtuber resellers these things where all found very regularly not as one off greatness deals! I think people forget or just dont know because they are new to reselling! When you been reselling since the early 90s like I have try telling me otherwise!
