It has been MANY years since I was running & gunning with the unbelieveable LEAHY clan, but now that I'm in my 80th year, I happened onto this video of their families in concert, and while watching I couldn't help but weep like a baby for all the precious memories that burst forth in remembrance of this extraordinarily talented group of musicians & dancers who have soooo magnificently represented not only Canadian music and clogging, but also how a family in this country can lovingly represent a belief that "The group that plays together, stays together...!!!" I'm sorry to hear that the "Original Leahys" (Mom & Dad) are no longer with us, but from the look of things performance-wise they are beaming with pride from their heavenly rest stations at how wonderful and truly accomplished their family has become...!!!
Awesome I've seen you perform in person many times My daughter was,a step dancer with Judy Nieberlein from Stratford

That was beautiful !!
I always loved the Christmas show you did in Markham (quite a number of years ago now) when your littles were involved, it was lovely.
How precious to have that memory with your mom and dad..........what a blessing!
You should be talking to Dr. Anna Beresford who is an alumni of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College, Barry's Bay. She recently, Dec. 5th, gave a Zoom lecture for the College's "Alumni in Academics" Lecture series. Her topic was: "A pattern language of Celtic traditional music and dance for social, economic, and ecological regeneration."
We know Anna well! ❤️
Was Donnell involved in that show at Koehner?
