Can we give this audio engineer a grammy?!
These videos are an absolute masterclass in drumming.
True comment
Every bar played here is lesson worthy. What an absolute musician
06:27 the HiHat here blew my mind , especially considering all the other stuff he does with his other limbs haha. I've never seen so much control in somebodys HiHat playing.
Jeremy Stig you can tell he’s really focusing on that and letting his body do everything else as if possessed by the groove
His left hand is mesmerizing!
The king in the pocket💯👑
Thank you Zildjan. You rule Nate!!!!
I was at this show and was still excited every time another part dropped
Where can I go to find out where my favorite drummers are playing?
Dude is INCREDIBLY talented!!! Damn!! Can’t stop watching!!!
That drum Solo.
Is just the fire of everything!
The performance as a whole is absolutely amazing :D
I had no idea there was a Part 3. This is why I come to UA-cam.
Part 4 on September 16
I'm lovin' this guitar player. I want to hear more of him. Beautiful music!
he is getting better every time, i am so impressed! getting slowly on my top list!
The "Drum Solo" is called Get Down, from his record Pocket Change
Nate Smith is a gifted person as far as I am concerned ! Good job with your odd time signatures!
Love these!
He is sooooo freakin’ good!
Nate you’re a legend
I love this guys...
Yess love this so much
that is one of the craziest skilled things i have ever witnessed. :-)
The most pocket groove.. ohhhh nate... why you so dammmmmn'good
gets me every damn time.
#NateSmith ♦️🥁♦️ The stuff that #Legends are made of!!! 😘💯🔥🔥🔥#WoW ✨💜✨🎶🎶🎶
was so hyped for part 3!!!
That groove at 8:42
Agreed
groove @ 6:24 sick too
Amazing drummer
Nete Smith if from my favorites , he is all the time very original and creative .He have interesting way and feeling to express his self BIG UP RESPECT from BULGARIA!
Great!!!!
Masterclass / MasterTalent / MasterSkill
quelle musicalité et quelle finesse!
what i didnt know there was going to be a pt 3 damng yessss!
He reminds me of a guy who did that in Jackson Mississippi 10 years ago from time frame 7:05 till the end...😲😳
Yes.
Time signature at the beginning?
Sick 🔥
The cymbals (overhead) sound is very dominant in the mix, but I love it!
Well, since it's a video from Zildjian I'd be surprised if they weren't.
Yesss!!
10 people were upside down cuzzz there's no way
Dislikes are probably Billie Eilish fans
How can I develop my right hand to play like that? What technique and exercises?
Cherian Biju He uses a lot of push pull and fingers techniques. Jojo Mayer’s instructional DVD secret weapons for the drummer covers all available hand techniques very well, I strongly recommend it to you.
This is SOOOO DOPE! Nate starts going HAM around 6:10...
Do you know which Vater sticks did he used? And the sizes of the drum set ?
fotvalas Last I saw he was using Vater 7A drumsticks. As for the kit, my guess is that it’s a Ludwig Classic Maple in 12x8, 14x14, 16x16, 20x14, with a matching 14x5 main snare - not sure about the aux snare. I could also be wrong on the second floor, but who cares... It’s holding a towel. I hope that’s useful.
You guys sound amazing, wish I could play with you guys. Where is your next concert?
The moon rabbit really enjoys this set!
What a God
I just realized how small that kick drum is
Don't know what style you play in but a condo series kick drum is the only way to go unless your playing hard rock or metal. It doesn't overwhelm I switched a few years back and love it. Give one a try if you get the chance.
Ludwig😵❤
6:10
Absolutely incredible.
6:27 - 6:57 alone is one of the most absolutely ridiculous things I’ve EVER heard
That first beat drop nearly made my ears s***rt!
... Is not groove is THE GROOVE ( handcraft by Master )
Point.
trop de parties tuent le concert...
Nate est toujours excellent cela dit, surtout sa main gauche. On dirait un serpent 🤪
Une Saison Aux Abeilles quel type de serpent
What the fuck was that groove???
