Great summary of the concerns/ issues. I have encountered similar situations, especially regarding the notion of “defending” a company. You mention judges and damages, and if I may ask did you work in litigation consulting or antitrust? Keep up the great videos!
I have my final round interview with Cornerstone this Friday! I watched all your videos related to econ consulting and they were very helpful. thank you! do u have any tips for case interview? (I found the blog post that u attached to the other video very very helpful)
Congrats! Hmm idk if I have much more advice other than what I’ve said in other videos. If you have time before your interview, you can run through a few more cases with a friend. Other than that, don’t stress and make sure you get a solid night’s sleep before the interview. Good luck!:)
@@TiaraTanka hmmm just kinda confused as to why you’d be the voice of reason for this industry… I’m not in the industry either but in medicine or most industries it takes years (experience) to become said voice … otherwise youre still really a student who’s getting paid. And again not same industry but I wouldnt trust a fresh grad doctor or lawyer or fresh grad anything if I wanted “advice” or treatment performed. But good luck w your you tube channel
I’m not the “voice of the industry” or trying to be. Just sharing my observations. I wasn’t aware of these things before I started working, and recruiters try to hide this information. Most “experienced” people in the industry wouldn’t talk about this publicly, so I wanted to share my observations to help people like my younger self. Obviously you should take any information from online with a grain of salt, and I think it’s great that you’re being skeptical. I’m sure I would’ve discovered many more issues had I stayed in the industry longer
@@TiaraTanka ok thanks for the response, and with all due respect you shouldn’t feel guilty for having a job. Idk if that’s how you feel but that’s kind of how it comes off in the vid.
Hey I can understand wanting to do better with your life. I also as a Christian did not want to sell people things that are immoral like medical care to the poor who cant afford it, it is against my faith. I believe that I can do better with my life as well for the Glory of Jesus Christ who was crucified for my sins so that I I ask him to forgive me for my sins he does who died and rose again on the 3rd day an ascended into heaven and will come again to Judge the world. 🥰

Thank you! It feels good to hear that other people have similar thoughts! I got some exposure to both

Problems exist in all areas. That's why we're here. Let's become problem-solvers..

Do you ever see cryptocurrency in your line of work ?
Yes, though I haven’t personally worked on cases involving cryptocurrency
