As a hardcore Invincible fan, I couldn’t be more pleased there is a game in development. We do need to see more to find out if it’s good or not but having Robert Kirkman be directly involved in the production of the game is a good sign. Need to see more but sounds interesting to say the least.

They litteraly just had to do an open world solo game with an invasion system where a player can join your game as a viltrumite or litteraly omniman even if viltrumites make more sense storywise and he has to kill you just like the night hunter in dying light or the hackers in watchdogs(even if they dont have to kill you) and make it the only multiplayer thing or add a 1v1 arena too but the things that i said earlier are more plausible to be made and thats it that would be the best invincible game Imo

i remember the last time i got excited for an invincible game it turned out to be a mobile game and a playable novel

Well, to be fair those were the first two games. This game isn’t gonna mobile since it’s gonna be a AAA game
It will probably be a mobile game desguised as a "AAA" agame. Amazon has shown they dont get gaming just like google didnt.

This means that the devs making Avengers and Suicide Squad thought that the brand was enough to make a profit, and did not care to think about what the character development was in those games. Avengers Endgame was coming out at the time Avengers released and James Gunn's The Suicide Squad was releasing when Suicide Squad first teaser came out.
There are 30 veteran game devs working on this game (so far and at the time of this video/comment) and most of the money will be for Skybound to make this game. They have to be paid somehow. So if the devs are working close to Robert Kirkman (the creator of Invincible) to make a game that even he and the people at Skybound enjoys, then I think this will be a good game to play. At least they are not under pressure to do this like WB for Rocksteady that made Suicide Squad game.
It all needs balance - Character work and not too much monetizable elements like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Let's just hope that it is not a shooter like that game like Suicide Squad, or has big damage numbers by looting for gear like Marvel Avengers.

Skybound is an entertaintment company mostly created for managing Walking Dead and Invincible, they aren't a video game company. That really isn't a secret. If they don't have enough amount of budget and team members for this game it is probably because this is their first attempt at going into the AAA industry. But still I assume compared to the average video game studio they got more resources and potential investors due to the IP's they hold
I was hoping for a AAA Invincible game for a while. Now that’s officially in development and the details have been revealed, I’m kind concerned about it.

He risked making an adaptation of invincible with fucking Amazon of all companies, and he got very lucky that it paid off (animation in the show still doesn't top any anime that have came out in the last decade though)

live service games are not a bad thing some times like helldivers, Fallout 76 today , but i dont think it fits with invincible

You scream that you don't like live service elements in superhero games but you want DLC in Spider-Man 2 (PS5)?
In all seriousness, live service superhero games can exist. They can't just be:
announce of game + live service word heard = game bad.
I think that it can work. It just needs a balance of live service and a good narrative/story to enjoy. While the DLC give as much as players want. Even if you have to pay for the DLC. You should not need to pay for any of the characters, suits, nameplates, take downs etc. They should also make sense and not be a shooter/brawler and has lots of power to the attacks. Not like Suicide Squad where you have guns. They (characters, suits etc) can be earnable and be easy to earn by playing the game. That is what I hope and want for a live service super hero game.
Hoe that this all makes sense and keep up with the Spider-Man content.
