Just got my 034 control arms installed on my ‘11 S5 and drove 1800 miles from Sac CA to Tacoma Washington and back they handled a lot better then OEM but not as smooth going over bumps. They’re a good upgrade for all the reasons you explained well worth the money spent!
Good video presentation. I'm an owner of a 2016 Audi A4. I'm in the process of replacing my Front Lower "Rear" control arms. Is their any additional accessories which I should purcahse when changing out manufacturing OEM.
@@AHMoss Thank you for sharing this viable information. Making sure I make a purchase with quality since I take care of my Audi to my best ability. Not a car for just any person. Forgeign Cars have to be handled with care if your looking for long jeopardy. Continue remaining safe during these challenging times 🙏
How do you tighten at static ride height? Where do you access it from? Had the same thought upon installing my 034 sway bar - was like how do you that with the car sitting on the ground?
@@AHMoss oh yah. Duh. Shoulda thought of that. Thanks! Have access to one through my community college night mechanic classes I take for fun. Actually got alignment certified on the John Bean rack!
Congrats! I would not consider advising on alignment specs, definitely trial and error but your alignment shop should be able to set you up properly to start
Thanks. Unfortunately, I don’t have a proper performance tuning shop in my area. So I have to rely on information I find online as a starting point. There is absolutely no information on B9 platform. I’m just curious what spec you found to be most beneficial on the track?
As far as the track goes I’ve been running a -2.9° Front and -2.4° rear for some time now & seems to be working well. Until about a year ago I was running neutral toe but 034 did realign with a toe out on the front. Are you on stock suspension?

hell yea, these are the best adjustable mod for dialing it all in to taste
Do you have sway bars upgraded? Or it's not needed with these control arms?
yup, running their stiffest sway bar kit “track package”
When you adjust these for camber, do they need to be done out of the knuckle? Or can they be done while in the knuckle?
I have no prior experience with aligning but I was told they have to be disconnected from the steering knuckle before adjusting

you should be fine with most garage tools to replace as long as you’re not pressing in/out the bushings

an alignment lift works great for this, just get underneath. alternatively you can use wheel cribs and lower the lift/car onto static height

i wish we had that in my CC would be an awesome elective
You need spacers.
BTW A4 B9 is a great chassis for race car.
i’ve been told before, but the look honestly doesn’t bother me
Every A4 chassis is great for race car. Worst is B6/B7, but great too.
I’m about to install the trac spec on my B9 S4. Do you have a recommendation for good hybrid (street/track) camber specs for front and rear?

why they could not do a camber adjustment straight from the factory? facepalm
