The Tatra Phoenix looks like a luxury truck range for long road trips. The military one, on the other hand, seems more practical in the interior design of course, no cup holders when transporting armored vehicles xD.
Well it’s the interior of the Daf XF, which is a long haul truck, so you’d be right. It is a very basic version though, no heads up displays or even a radio, lol ^^
@@kornaros96 it is a highway long range semi hauler, exactly like a Volvo FH or Scania S/R. It can absolutely have similar equipment and comfort levels as it’s Swedish counterparts, otherwise it would not be a used and competitive long haul truck on the European market.
There are nowhere near enough vintage trucks in the game... One thing I really miss from Mudrunner is all the old school, no frills Soviet trucks... Like the C255

@@SNOWDUDE13 But it's the best small crane, better then the blue Russian or Yellow American crane. If it has any shortcoming it's that's it's only on the Bandit (outside of mods) which is not the studliest of trucks. But as for the crane itself, the Bandit crane is great.
@@SNOWDUDE13 I think the Bandit works best as a trailer truck. The Step-Deck really helps stop the Bandit from tipping easily. The blue trailers (semi trailer or sideboard) won't help it at all as those trailers in of themselves are tippy and easily rolled.
The Phoenix immediately strikes me as a truck with like 4 core uses: -surprisingly nimble heavy hauler with that saddle high only stipulation, perhaps as the rear vehicle in a chain for severly overweight loads -leading rig on a road-train with that centrally mounted fuel tank add-on, ahead of something stronger but harder on fuel maybe? -standard mid-range hauler with great turning for it's size (and configuration). Probably prone to flipping at speed.

The Tatra trucks seems kinda half-assed to me. No suspension upgrades, only unique addons. And for some reason they're all 8-wheelers. Phoenix could work well as a 4-wheeler and 817 as a 6-wheeler, so you can get a complete fleet of Tatras for eeverything. Or even better keep 817 as an 8-wheeler and add a 148 as a 6-wheeler. Also the 805 should better tow scout trailers.
Probably due to how it's licenced, they likely don't have the freedom to make exactly what they want, that or they just haven't finished internal testing.

@@krisavi I mean, they have added quite a few upgrades to older vehicles, and added plenty of new missions to older maps (even if they are boring ones lol). I personally don't think much has been left underpowered, they have gone back and upgraded vehicles, it's just important that they don't do that too much or else there is no real reason to use newer vehicles over the old ones, or progression can get thrown out completely. As for the maps, meh, adding extra missions is something they have messed around with, but it hasn't really added much to the game IMO, maps are needed, not excuses to drive the same routes 10 more times.
Yeah, it does feel a little off. The Tatra's interior literally looked to me like it's the interior of the DAF XF. And now I've seen the front of the truck, it literally is a DAF XF. Only difference is the logo and the grill length.

I didn't realize the tatra force was un locked by such a simple task. I spent like an hour using the cranes and stuff to get it out of the rock pit it was in and towing it all the way back to the garage and the multiple game sessions until I figured out why it said I hadn't discovered it yet >_

While I understand why some people don't like how small the maps are, I personally really like it. I like the huge open maps, but sometimes I don't feel like crawling along kilometers worth of roads through super thick mud or snow just to get somewhere. This new map feels much more suited to actual offroading and exploration than previous maps which really just felt like Euro Truck Simulator at x0.5 the speed lol
Tow truck addon on Tatra would be useful if Devs would make option to attach towed vehicle's only front or only rear wheels (the same as vehicle could be attached to trailer now, but now u need all the wheels staying on trailer. They need to make only one axle required to attach)
The towing addon for the T815-7 is like the iX 3880 rotator's lift axle. Which half the time, doesn't seem to work. Trucks would slip off the axle pretty easily. The only truck I've towed with it that doesn't slide off the axle was the Transtar in Smithville Dam. Still an impressive mod, but I'm hoping Saber can do a better job. This is their game, they know it best. But I wouldn't be surprised if they made the same mistake.
This game man!.. I first played it and turned it off 30mins in. Yelling at it like "Stupid game, its so stupid, dumb no way No Way that will work...how the heII am i supposed to go through there ...No way..." Played it the next day to show a friend, just to prove how there was no way to do one of the missions.... (when i found a way to do it)...Then i said oh well i got lucky .. so i said now look at this one.. No way thats going to work! 1hr later. did it..(hmmm) 2 weeks of quitting & "never playing it again"...(then playing it again) Today i'm hooked! Killing time like a mother, all real life's responsibility's are put on hold as I blast through the woods at 3mph, swamped in mud up to the windows, as i continue to yell "No way tha-ts.... go-ing .... to... w o rk ! Ho w the HeI.. .. .. love it!
Please give it the option for manual gear and clutch option like ETS. So that people can have full control. Snow runner is mostly automatic which really annoying.

Compared to the original trucks in reality, Tatra Phoenix is very long. Visually. There are only two or three trailers with a high saddle in the game, which players hardly use (while the game has Kolob from the very beginning, and then ZikZ-605R appeared), but the developers persistently offer players unnecessary and controversial trucks with unused functionality. Why is this done? In order to say that a lot of work has been done to improve the game? Quantity over quality is a losing strategy and simulation of work. The result will be a loss of interest in the game, but those responsible will blame ... the players.🤣🤣😂 And so it is always when they do not think what they are doing.

smaller don't means that you won't have to travel long distance...because as far as I explored them there's no trailer store on first map and second map kinda crashed on me but I managed to explore more than half of it too and no trailer store there too...don't know if it'll be the same in final version.
i think it depends on where you tow it irl a truck most of the times gets towed on its rear axles because otherwis the rearwheels would be rolling and because its not in gear the gearbox will break after sometime because it wont be lubricated

I'm a few weeks in on this game and I'm going back thru trying to 100% missions and task and shew boy are they tedious. Was wondering if there's any videos or throwing out the idea for someone to make a tips video on how to be efficient in completing said tasks. For example you can stock equipment at the garage like metal beams, bricks whatever so you don't need to ride to pick up whenever they are needed for a mission. I just completed that Michigan mission where you have to deliver 12 things to 4 different locations and an that was a task.

Why had snowrunner not launched the console update for phase five yet? I’ve checked the PlayStation store and all but there’s nothing, I’ve only seen PC players get it
Wait, train tracks cargo is not new or am I wrong? In wisconsin there were missions to repair the train track and for that you needed to craft train tracks with rolled steel or steel beams.
@@nfsfanAndrew That thing is dreadful and you can't take trailer. You may as well use the normal log trailer with a decent truck. I used the trailer then winch another trailer behind.
This might change if they start doing actual European content, there is a decent chunk of the community that wants to see some of that stuff, myself included.
wish i was still playing this game. Game deleted all of our stuff on the 3rd map, wife and I were doing a play through. All trailers and trucks from the maps just disappeared, not modded either. Was so stupid, do not understand why they struggle so much with their co-op matches
They still need to fix the co op Nat type strict because even if you port forward it still does not fix. Like what game requires you to have a specific ISP to play co op
Mine will work one time per game launch on pc with the port forwarding done. After i leave or disconnect i need to close and relaunch to play coop again. On console it works fine everytime.

Lift kit is technicaly impossible for Tatra chassis. U have to built complete new one

The radar trailer is unlocked via a quest in Lake Kovd, Kola Peninsula.

Wait, train tracks cargo is not new or am I wrong? In wisconsin there were missions to repair the train track and for that you needed to craft train tracks with rolled steel or steel beams.
those were different...these are stack on top of each other while wisconsin one was just one 5slot train track

@@nfsfanAndrew That thing is dreadful and you can't take trailer. You may as well use the normal log trailer with a decent truck. I used the trailer then winch another trailer behind.

well, Game only has two regions russian and american, so Any truck they add has to be considered either russian or american

wish i was still playing this game. Game deleted all of our stuff on the 3rd map, wife and I were doing a play through. All trailers and trucks from the maps just disappeared, not modded either. Was so stupid, do not understand why they struggle so much with their co-op matches

They still need to fix the co op Nat type strict because even if you port forward it still does not fix. Like what game requires you to have a specific ISP to play co op
Mine will work one time per game launch on pc with the port forwarding done. After i leave or disconnect i need to close and relaunch to play coop again. On console it works fine everytime.
The cabin inside looks like DAF 105 and outside is like Mercedes
