For men and women who have wrist issues or if age is a challenged or if you have any issues with chambering a round and the typically stiff resistance of the spring in the upper slide.. another EDC that won’t break the bank is the S&W 9mm or .380 SHIELD EZ. I want to put emphasis on the “EZ”. Not just the shield. It’s about the same price point as the EDC featured in this video but pulling back the slide is like butter. Very easy to load. Parts are plentiful, ammo for the 9mm is fairly abundant at this time and inexpensive comparatively to other calibers. The only drawback back is the mag holds I think 8 rounds. I have one I carry everywhere, not bc I have strength issues but bc it is light and very easily handled if in the event of {enter any numbers of scenarios}. But you could, hypothetically, put multiple magazines in the Fanny pack featured in this video. Just a piece of advice bc the EDC in this video is affordable and it’s great for a lot but the EZ is great and fits most.. even the prepared who don’t have a lot of forearm strength which is very important to consider. Just as important as you actually taking it to a credible range or outdoors with someone of experience to practice using it. Try out several types before you make your decision but always choose an EDC that you will easily find replacement parts like triggers, springs etc.
I also carry a small watertight container with a dosage of my medications. I'm a disabled veteran. I rarely go out long enough to worry about it, but emergencies do happen. And my EDC self-defense protection is a S&W 686-4 with a 4" barrel. I'm old school and that "old friend" has been around a good number of years.
I am in a similar situation and water tight Med holder is key. And if you need more rounds than what you are carrying, then it’s really not worth engaging the threat, as a solo player. But that’s just my opinion opinion anyway for what it’s worth anyway.
I kept wincing while you had the blade out and were talking with your hands. Got close there a couple times. Great EDC that wont break the bank. So many vids on the top of the line gear with top of the line materials at a top of the line price. I am going to be using this gear everyday and in all honesty will probably loose half those small pocket items at one point or another, so carrying affordable and replaceable items makes the most sense to me.
I’ve been getting really lucky at this one flea market. I’ve been picking up those Milwaukee fast backs brand new for $8-10 bucks still in the package. I probably have around 7 of these things. I myself rock the Bellroy sling bag. Really enjoy it a lot. Those Acebeams are awesome lights. I have 3 all in different colors. I carry on my side the Glock 29 10mm 👍. Great video sir
I don't go cheap or expensive. I'm not attracted to shinny anymore! I stick with what I bought & don't buy the newest thing because an influencer said it was cool! I carry the same pistol with reload, hand light, folder, & I get new OC spray when it gets old! I don't buy new stuff just because it's shinny!

Right there with ya brother! Can’t stand people enough to go out to much. I use contact lens containers to carry my meds, works pretty well.
Very cool! The 80's are back. My instructor said he carries in a fanny pack. Thanks for sharing my friend 🤠
Finally someone appreciating the Milwaukee knives. Seems like only tradesman know about it
My company uses a lot of Milwaukee tools
Yep!!! I've carried them since the original fastback.
@@ThePreparedWanderer big fan of your channel as well brother awesome work🤙
I always carry a lighter, hanky, flashlight, pocket knife, and pew.
Wendell, love the shirt. Have one just like it and we’d definitely be gray man as Midwestern tourists in Hawaii!! 👍 Nice 👍 video
Just me, but I add a RAT tourniquet. Compact, easily fits in my fanny pack. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
So true, the fanny pack was very popular in the early 90s and for some reason fell out of vogue by the 2000s. Good to hear that they have returned.

Yep like the low dollar options. I've quit carrying my good knives and high dollar lites, so I don't have to worry about loosing them etc
You had me at “fanny pack”. Good stuff.
Good items, thanks for sharing, God bless !
