The Christopher Reeve Superman film was actually called "Superman: The Movie" and a simple google search of Superman 2025 likely would pull up the Gunn film is my best guess.
Yea , definitely first world problems here 😅. Altogether, I think once we have seen the movie, it may be more apparent why he changed the name but for now. Either way, I just really hope the movie will be good. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

@@TheMaxFlicks It looks like the Cavill suit but updated. I enjoyed the Cavill suit especially when they went a little brighter with the colors.
@@LuckyDogGaming yea I thought the MoS suit was great as well. I'm hoping that this one can really feel like it's own thing. But I trust in the Gunn
I am a bit disappointed with the emblem/suit reveal. It seems to be coming from the exact same old school of thought as the Returns and MOS suits ….
Muted/sepia colours, ‘over designed’ textured surface and no doubt it will also sport muscle padding (which I hate)…
Since Gunn claims it’s inspiration comes from Alex Ross’s art, I was hoping for a updated Chris Reeve cloth-like suit. I don’t need to see every (fake looking) muscle fibre bursting through the suit…. I’m sure Corenswet would look great in a spandex equivalent.
The BVS Supes suit was atrocious looking for this reason.
Yea it does have a lot more similarities in this picture to the MoS version. Just a bit darker than I think some people were hoping. I'll need to see the full suit to make up my mind properly. I don't think they need the padding either. You can look epic without it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🍿
I thought the MOS suit was cool overall, but not the BVS suit.

Im not gonna lie I was disappointed in the symbol it looks faded dark and it’s not yellow and bright it’s dark red and gold also it’s called Superman now not legacy.. I was used to legacy.. but It will take some time to get used to the symbol. Not complaining just I was so used to the original S and legacy…
I know. They just changed the name on us. I guess thats what you get to do when you're the boss 🤷🏻♂️. It's definitely a darker suit than I was expecting but I'll reserve my final thoughts until I've seen the full thing with proper colour grading. Fingers crossed it looks distinct enough from the other suits. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
