According to video I watched (put out by Ford), the coil spring were introduced along with the '08 model Super Duty's with the 6.4L Powerstroke. So by Ford's admission, not mine, leaf springs were used through the trucks with the 6.0L Powerstroke.

It's a 4 inch down pipe and straight pipe all they way back, it also has the 10 vane turbo which is where a lot of the wine comes from.
