"I don't know if I can do it"
Gives it gas
0:22 seconds ... to the lil boy flapping his gums:
You fkkn right he's from TEXAS
And you fkkn right He Ain't Scared
All facts. 🤙🏼
More confidence and skill than I have
I guess no one has seen the stock ford excursion do this years ago? Now that was impressive
Link?
@@cowboykyle I myself looked for it I found one from years ago and it had lockers and shit what you did was impressive and everyone was doubting saying you didn't have enough flex
There's actually quite a few stock full sizes that have made it up, quite a few vids of them on here. And honestly I would feel more comfortable going up Hells Gate in a full size than a Jeep or comparable vehicle since they are more prone to roll over on there. Have seen quite a few Jeeps, buggies and sxs rolled on there.
Give credit to the guy that’s directing the driver through all of that 👏🏼
Facts.
Very impressive for a stock work truck with good tires and good spotter. That sounded like the gasoline version too. Just goes to show you don't need a $100k build to go overlanding.
6.2L gasser indeed.
I agree, $ 90,000 is the most I'll go!
What an accomplishment and great teamwork.
I have a Ford 350 and I would never consider doing something like this...haha. Kudos to this guy for making the attempt.
Attempt he did it...stay on the pavement
@@michaelrasmussen426 Haha...troll. Go play with your daddies prius
Now this is impressive. Good driving
"Need me to go up there" "shut your mouth dom" lmao backgrounds great
There’s too many chiefs not enough Indians😏
seriously impressive, great spotting, great driving, solid over all.
Thats Sick! But to bad to real hell can be escaped in a vehicle, the only way out of Hell Is Jesus Christ and eternal salvation is in Him!, trust in Him before its to late! You never know when it could be your last day! its a free gift! Trust in Jesus and turn from your sin!
5:42 Would be great with a locking front differential!!! That is only 3WD
Nicely done! Longer wheelbase vehicles tend to have an easier run at Hell's Gate. Short 2 door rigs; even Jeeps feel like they're going to backflip--especially near the top.
The best way to make a jeep guy look like a fool is to do the same thing in a stock vehicle.
Damn good spotter.
He probably has some sweet off roading stickers on there somewhere that gave him the power he needed to get up this hill
That scratch at the end hurt me
That went about as expected... : /. Great driving and guide saved the day.
The lady's quote of the driver "he said "I am from Texas, I do not care."" was absolutely hilarious. I laughed and then had to give that man and the state of Texas props!
Good fun with such a big truck. I heard the Carli kits can unlock a lot more articulation from them. Moving up from a 150 in the next two years.
Carli is definitely on my to do list. 👍🏻
You can definitely see the lack of travel across the front axle.
That guy has some balls
That guy is cool under pressure.... great to watch!!!
im not from the states but that definitely deserves a hell yea brother
Idk why but something about this was very satisfying to watch and see him succeed.
Well done. Just out of curiosity, id like to see a damage report. Is that a short or long bed?
Short bed, no damage.
Nice job......LARGE PELOTAS LOL
People come from miles around for the challenge with thousands of dollars in their jeeps and 4runners and jimmy in his farm truck just beat them to it
Doesn't look like a "farm truck" definitely setup for off roading, very obvious. Also has a rear electronic diff lock.
"I want you to follow that crack" boy that's about the 100th time Ive heard that
Sounds like my first date! 😍
Brave driver, I love my truck too much to attempt this but good to know it probably could.
FX4 Off-Road package includes an electronic locking rear differential which should have been a big help
Couldn't have done it without it. Lol
@@cowboykyle I found out the hard way after I bought a GMC 2500 HD that the Eaton G80 needs 300 RPM (per Eaton) difference in rear wheel spin to engage (vs the 100 RPM that is commonly stated including by GM) so there's much less control over when it kicks in and that at least as of 2019 nobody makes a front locker for GMC/Chevy because the front differential is not strong enough. Huge difference and GM/Chevy's AT3/Trail Boss package doesn't change that. Also big plus that ARB and others make front lockers for newer Fords.
@@manchesterroofingsystems8016 yes. My buddy who filmed this has a solid axle swapped GMC with that G80 locker and it is violent and not fun.
Long wheelbase helps. I've seen so many 2 doors flip on this but that long wheelbase owns Hell's Gate. Great video.
