I think she had a straight out mate, but her flag might have fallen in 5 seconds. Probably not, but maybe yes. She was lucky to have the half point available so she took it!
The problem white has is, if you play something like bishop f8, then black's queen can take on e5 and cover the g7 square. White is very much winning, but there's no knockout and that's pretty stressful if you have 5 seconds on your clock.
@@TomVennixyou’re right. Taking the draw, might have been a good decision. I think the best move would have been to play Bd6 and black would lose another pawn with a much weaker king
She could then just gobble the two kingside pawns and probably has a winning endgame. But looking at how high the evaluation bar is there probably is something tactical I’m not seeing.
He should not have exchanged her isolated pawn off, also opening the second file was a mistake, he should have traded off the queens and play the endgame of good knight versus bad bishop.
I saw 2 blunders. As soon as he castled, and she still had power, she should have attacked that castle, even if it meant sacrificing a piece to open it up. Later, she lost too much power to do it.
@@kurtiskuchcinski2628 yeah thats what i thought, the game would be prolonged although white's position would be better. the white pawns could advance and for the black Q to move, white Q could eat those black pawns and be on pawn advantage. Yeah, I analyze the game with stockfish, and it doesn't show any checkmates within the top 10 moves. Qe8+ was the move it said was best. The bishop one was the 4th best move, and the black gets their queen to e5 and f6 to foil it.
Hey. I haven't played much chess so far but I know that one move is called "castling". Does it only work if you move the king to the rook and then use the rook to jump over the king or can you also move the rook to the king and then use the king to jump over the rook? There should be a money slot on the clock, and you can buy more time. The winner of the game takes the money home.

Personally, I don’t find the games as technical when they don’t end in checkmates. Feel like a lot of higher ranked games just end with time
I got the feeling Bf8 would have been the killing blow at the end, but seeing that there is no checks in so little time is hard.
Nevermind there is ... Dc7 as defense
She’s talented and likeable. We have to remember she’s still young.
