I learned so much from this conversation! Thanks
I almost didn't post this video because we didn't catch anything, but Dan is such a resource and really gave great advise, I thought it would be a shame not to share. You were my target audience for this vid! Glad it helped!
Being a young and newer inshore fisher, this knowledge and experience is priceless. These guys have seen it all😂. Thanks for the content Steve!
Glad you enjoyed it and learned a thing or two. Now get out there and make it happen!
Great vid for a new guy, got skunked yesterday minus a trout, learned a lot hearing the conversation from you and the old timer. Thanks!
@@jrivera8049 I get skunked too. I just don't post any videos about it! There's no better teacher than time on the water.
Great video.
Thanks for watching!
Hello Steve, I have been fortunate to fishing with Dan for years and he is proficient in every species we chase! He is an awesome guy and a spectacular fisherman.
We got skunked, but it was such a great conversation, I had to share! Dan is great and I can't wait to go out with him again.
MXPLUGS...Hey Steve how about some big reddish size crankbaits.
Tell that guy about MY POPPIN CORK!.Great video!
@@jamescounts8455 Thanks for stopping by the channel! I went to an Oyster Roast a month ago and someone had one of your oyster knives! I immediately knew it was yours. For anyone else reading this, go check out www.mxplugs.com/ or Jame's booth at the Raleigh Fishing Expo!!!
So cool using the drone to get your bait out there. That is illegal in NC, I think.
Great video I learned a lot just listening , is that new bern in the distance?
It's on the Neuse, closer to Oriental.
Looking for my first bull this year , usually fish the Pamlico River
@@patrickcotter945 I've got high hopes for you. It took 3 trips before it happened for me. Check out my Red Drum Fishing playlist to learn more. ua-cam.com/play/PLzG9Bw4SkYAZdXn5SNQxL5MAOMfm9hYwV.html
We're did you launch from
Oriental is a great place to launch, but if it is full, drive up to Dawson's Creek. Both launches will get you where we were fishing.
What time of year?
Anytime between late July and early October with September being the peak month. I plan on publishing a new video that will explain all the details.
