      He's some kind of stop-motion warrior monk. Wallace and Gromit have a shrine to this guy in their little clay home, and they light a candle in front of it every damn day.

    Honestly, i respect his dedication for doing stop motion projects like people. Its crazy how much effort it takes to produce an outcome for a few seconds of it like stop motion films

    Such attention to detail, like the position of muscles, pressure of thumbs (and blood flow around the fingernails) to get continuity from frame-to-frame. That really amazes me. And any watch-wearing person should know is that the wrist grows and shrinks throughout the day.

    This right here is why all of your work impresses me so much.
    Ive worked with wood, and knowing that you had to work on an actual project, in an often awkward sequence. Bit by bit, meticulously, interrupted by hundreds of staged photos is just amazing.

    This is why ever since my friends showed me stop motion 17 years ago i have had huge respect for people that devote themselves to this art. It takes SO much time and to be precise.

      When I press the shutter, I move my arm out of the frame. Therefore, my arms are not visible in the photo.

      I use a software called Dragon Frame.
      I use that software to match the position of the arm in the previous photo with the position of the arm in the photo I'm about to take.

    I'm the kind of person that buys a Blu-ray just to watch the bonus features; I often find the behind-the-scenes content more engaging than the actual film. This video, however, is one of the rare instances where the how-its-made video actually elevates my enjoyment of the final product.

    こういう一度撮って少し切って撮影ポイントに戻してまた撮るという繰り返しの工程で、手とか物の位置を寸分違わず元の位置に戻せるの凄い
    ストップモーションとして見ると手の位置がズレまくったり微妙に瞬間移動してたり不自然になると思うのに、そういったズレがほとんどないのは凄い

    I remember trying to do an animation and quickly quitting because I had to draw every frame. These kinds of videos require a LOT of time to make.

    And these are for 1 minute videos, imagine how long full length films take. One of the reasons I love stuff like Wallace and Gromit, every tiny little thing had to be thought off. A background character frowning slightly overhearing the protagonists talking, an object moving slightly as someone walks past quickly

    When I see your videos I imagine the number of Frames/photos that you make for every second.

      I use 12 pieces per second most of the time.
      I use 40 photos for scenes where cars are running.
