This is why ever since my friends showed me stop motion 17 years ago i have had huge respect for people that devote themselves to this art. It takes SO much time and to be precise.
I use a software called Dragon Frame. I use that software to match the position of the arm in the previous photo with the position of the arm in the photo I'm about to take.
I've always wanted to see a behind-the-scenes video! This is so amazing and fascinating. I hold so much respect for people that do stop-motion animation :)
I love seeing behind the curtain of how you make these wonderfully silly things for us! We usually just consume them without thinking about the hours and hours and HOURS you spend making them. PLEASE never stop! 😎
I'm the kind of person that buys a Blu-ray just to watch the bonus features; I often find the behind-the-scenes content more engaging than the actual film. This video, however, is one of the rare instances where the how-its-made video actually elevates my enjoyment of the final product.
Omozoc and PES are my favorite stop motion artists. The creativity, dedication, attention to detail, the use of materials that you'd not expect... and most importantly, not using those standard sizes leg0 blocks or die like those cookie-cutter videos that are boring to watch after a while.
