site very easily.
If you would like to contacts me for offers, or want
to ask me quesiton you can do so by sending me a DM
on instagram listed above!
Good video. This planer will be more correctly called KakumenKanna.....Mentori family has a lot of variants
I really hope the dowel making process will be explained in the dining table video. Can't wait to see it either way!
Jason Robinson it's not explained in detail, but I could definitely make a video on the process!
@@SethsProject I'd like to see this as well. I'd like to make some 1 1/2 inch dowels.
William Alan Photo I actually uploaded a video on how I made the dowels!
@@SethsProject Thanks. I watched it!
Japanese tools are absolutely gorgeous. I actually enjoy the demand they have on me to maintain them. I have some white paper kitchen knives and within 60 seconds they will rust if water is left on them but they cut like a laser beam.
Thanks again for the advice on mine. I absolutely love mine. It is extremely easy to use and makes me want to get another Japanese hand plane. And advise on what to look for when shopping for them?
Can’t wait for the dining room table build
Awesome! I love your videos man
Thanks! Your videos are great as well my friend!
I do love the look of these things but are they really necessary?
Necessary? No, but hobbies are never about necessary.
Ive seen one where the blade is straight. The one you have is angled. Any idea on the difference?
It's not a big difference either way. The only benefit of the angled blade is when you chamfer across the grain. It prevents tear out, or breaking the corners off when planing.
@@SethsProjectthanks!
now every piece of wood in your shop has a chamfer in it
Hey Seth - you sure you typed www.Noborihamono.com correct? Safari can't find it and it doesn't respond to pings.
Nevermind - works fine if you leave off the www.
John Foster Yeah, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working lol the site is a bit difficult to navigate, but if you message nobori you should be able to find what you are looking for :)
Where can I get one? What can one expect to pay?
Ross Nanfito I meant to put a link in the description to a few places, it's there now! For a good one you should expect to pay $200.
