didn't Dublin have a plan to build a metro line out towards the airport via Swords - is that project still ongoing? Sorry if I'm completely wrong, I'm an Aussie so I'm clearly not an expert on Ireland but I do enjoy learning about your country.
The metro is totally new for these region instead of the ground rails originally.I found there is no stairs option for passenger coming into this metro station.If escalatos breakdown or need maintenance work, passenger should choose other entering gates.

Sometime next year (2024) the extension will open and that will go to the City Centre, and will include stations at Crows Nest, Victoria Cross, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Pitt Street, Central, Waterloo and Sydenham. And then sometime after that it will take over the Bankstown Line.

When escalators are stopped, they become stairs.
