Sydney is so much denser than I first thought, It’s super cool to look at.
It depends on which part of Sydney. Chatswood and the CBD, absolutely, but places like Dural or Wisemans Ferry, no, which balances it out to be quite moderate density
It depends where you go, but there's definitely decent density in a select few suburbs. NSW have been encouraging lots of transit oriented development in the last decade and it'll only ramp up with the new metro lines.
Fantastic, Chatswood looks just like Singapore, clean, vibrant, safe, futuristic, wealthy, multiracial, international, all the ideal conditions of a perfect liveable city.

The transformation of this station is amazing to what it was 30 years ago,I did not recognise it when I visited few years ago.
The last time I was at Chatswood station it had two platforms!
I used to visit my girlfriend who lived a few blocks from the station.
Next to the station exit were buses lined up by their bus stops and a few one and two storey shops across the street. And that was it!

The only building that hasn't changed in Chatswood is the Orchard Hotel, everything else is different from what it was like when I used to live there back in 1960.

@Arch Stanton Sydney International Airport is a 20 year old Sydney metro station ua-cam.com/video/MCx3U_Yav5Y/v-deo.html and it looks pretty clean to me. There are some are amazing NYC subway stations like Fulton Center, The Oculus, and 34th Street Hudson Yards but the majority are nasty.
That's really the point though. Why are there filthy 120 year old stations on the NYC subway system that haven't been refreshed to bring them up to first world standards? Age is no excuse for filth. Unlike NYC these don't smell like piss and poop and these are very clean

I used to travel to Strathfield when I was in high school. It was a sleepy little place then which I liked. And another sleepy station I liked was Wollstonecraft where I visited friends. Hope they’re still the quiet little places still.

the metro is way quicker than the waratahs... except the metro just slows down more and earlier at the end, because it has to stopp exactly at the doors. Even still, the metro is way quicker. north ryde to epping in 6 min

This is my ranking based from my experience. They are all mostly Chinese except Bankstown and Cabramatta who are Lebanese/Arabic and Vietnamese respectively.
Chatswood is one of the most Asian populated suburbs

It shows. Quality is extremely low. bits falling off left right and centre
only the teal trains are made in india. Some of the yellow ones were made in China (A and B sets). The Tangara's were made in Australia.
