- Beretta answered the call of Bobcat fans searching for more color variety and threaded barrel options by introducing a new line of 21A Bobcat models.
Launched at SHOT Show, Beretta told Guns.com that the 21A Bobcat models were fresh from the manufacturer, so much so that pricing has not been set on the new wares. Color schemes now include Flat Dark Earth, silver and black Two-Tone, black with walnut grips, silver and blue with rosewood grips, and a dressed-up blue frame and pearl grips version.
In addition to snazzy looks, the new 21A Bobcat models also offer 1/2x28 threaded barrels for suppressor fans. Beretta says the new Bobcats will be available mid- to late-2020.
The presenter is such a good salesman he actually got me to listen to him talk about this gun I would never buy. That’s talent.
I've been searching for this gun but can't a new one for sale.
This is a really cool little pistol
@@LAT-qk3vj you managed to get it?
@@LAT-qk3vj If you're still looking, search J212125 at Shooting Surplus. They have the wrong photo and manufacturer on the site, but I checked with them and it's for the covert black model with wood grips.

I've had mine for 20 years and love this little gem.
Beretta has been killing it the last few years and really listening to consumers.Nice!
Where can I get these guns?
Really dude their making WAY overpriced pocket mouse guns...
Not really. Have you sen those prices?
@@MrEvilTag I have seen their prices... that's why I said that...
@@SuperSonofsatan wasnt replying to you
I think he's excited about this.
Not for that price I'm not...
True Story!
Beretta had the absolute worst customer service of all the manufactures I dealt with when I was a gun dealer. I had a cop that bought a brand new beretta from me that shot a foot low when the sights were on target when he was trying to qualify. His range master had the same issue when he tried it. Brought me the gun. I shot it with the same issue. Sent the gun to beretta with the target showing how low the gun shot with a letter describing the problem. We get the gun back a month later with a target shot by beretta with the rounds are a foot lower then the bullseye on the target exactly like our targets along with a letter stating the gun shoots within the Beretta’s parameters. I called and threatened to never sell another beretta if they didn’t make it right and the regional rep said it sounded like an idle threat. Do what I had to do. I had to spend 190$ out of my own pocket to have custom sights made for the gun so it would shoot accurately. I never sold another Beretta in my shop for the remaining 17 years I was in business and told every customer who asked me for one the story about why I wouldn’t sell one. I don’t like getting screwed over and talked down to. Ya I’m still bitter and I hold a grudge to those scumbags.
Yeah I got the new beretta 92x performance and so far the first one had canted rear sights, and the second one i noticed is missing the pre travel screw and the barrel isn’t centered. For 1300 I need it to be perfect not half assed.... I might be returning it back to them and never buying from them again.
@SmokeFan2014 lol thought you were calling Italians onion heads hadn't heard that one before
Yoyr comment has definitly turned awat alot of would be buyers. Thank you
I’ve bought two berettas and will never own another absolute garbage.
That’s shitty they did you like that
Pearl grips make it look like a french quarter pimp's gun.
Lol, now I want one. That should be the marketing slogan
01backpack Patton would not like,
That's why I like it 🤷♂️😂
Patton RIP
Hahaha, Patton reference!
22 and 32 suppressed is awsome I want both of them 👍🏽👍🏽
Hey homie, just don't wack nobody there! 😂👉💥
Except the Bobcat's frames already crack and Beretta was never able to fully fix that. Adding a suppressor is a way to guarantee a crack.
I want that tomcat with the threaded barrel! I love .32acp, the gentleman's caliber.
Yes indeed . Love my tomcat! And I think the threaded barrel will be a little longer too which I like ! Been waiting to buy another tomcat so here is my chance
For the price I put tritium sights on a p32 ( they refished slide and barrel which also fixed rust issue) , added a metal flat faced trigger and metal mag release
@@edstringer1138 who did that work?
No, no you don't. Beretta is basically the only company to have never made a reliable pocket pistol. Their frames crack. And if you put a suppressor on it, it will just crack faster due to the increased slide thrust.
@@WardenWolf what do you recommend?
I picked one up in .25 ACP online from a guy selling the little discontinued gem, new in box, for $150 each . . . should have bought 2 or 3 . . . I carried that little thing everywhere.
This spokesman is really good.
Love my little bobcat. Goes everywhere with me.
I have an old 950 in .25acp and I love it. Though a threaded barrel is awesome.
Extraordinary salesman. Circling back to this after a few years and still excited about the Covert 21A :)
I purchased the bobcat FDE in the Philippines thru PB Dionisio gun store , please send us more aftermarket parts like suppressors, lasers color green different grips and more magazine, when purchase the Bobcat there is no extra magazine or extended magazine kit etc. It's unfair
Bring back the 25acp. At least it is a center fire for reliability sakes.
Why? .25 ACP is even more under powered than .22LR, you may as well have a tickle fight with the bad guy, I barely expect .25 ACP to put a hole through a card board target, let alone defend myself with it.
@@cplinstructor If all you want to do is affect a behavior change in the bad guy, .25 ACP is capable for the job.
Provided you can live with a 37% failure to stop with one shot. If you have the option of anything bigger than a .25, I think all of us would recommend that, but if a .25 is all you can get, it's still better than harsh language. It's also a fairly uncommon caliber, so your options for ammo are limited; maybe with different loads, it could be made more effective. All that being said, if your only option for defense is a .25 ACP or a .22 LR, I would still recommend the .25: The difference in power is not significant enough to matter, and centerfire will always be more reliable than rimfire.
But if .25 is going to be your first choice for a defensive handgun, things had better be pretty bad.
Carry a 25 if it makes you feel good, but do not ever load it. If you load it you may shoot it. If you shoot it you may hit somebody, and if you hit somebody, and he finds out about it, he may be very angry with you.”
- Col. Jeff Cooper
@@cplinstructor lies I've shot a 25 through a steel door from like 40 yards away it went through both sides a quarter inch of steel with about two inches of wood and another quarter inch of steel it went through both n came out the other side
@Dan Snyder It's basically pistol oriented .22, without a massive fireball.
Beretta
Thank for building the TB 21A series!
Yes! More 25 and 32 please!
Cool! Ive had Bobcats on and off for a long time one of my favorite pistols ever!
600 bucks for a 22lr...come on guys these prices are getting way out of hand...yeah I get it it's the new stuff but come on...I can get a use older one for like 200..
Just wait a few months and someone will turn a new one back in and it’ll come down to like say 350-400$ 🤞😂😂
These new models will sell very in dealer markup of $600 so Bobcat will be $1,200.00! Tomcat you talking $2,500+ if you can find one!
HW2800 nah I don’t believe it!! Who is going to buy a pocket gun for those prices ??
@John Doe that makes no sense...
@@Agent77X that's ridiculous....any gun will shot you just as dead...pricing is crazy...I have the 950 in 25 cal..and the lil brother in 22lr I paid like 150 bucks a piece like 15 years back...
Oh! Miracle !
Cute & Cool design !
Italian design is unbelievable !
I'll take two in Tiffany blue, one in 22 for the girl and one in 5.7 for me.
Thanks.
@Timothy Mckee That's been working for Hayabusa, why wouldn't it work for Beretta?
If it were possible to make in 5.7 that’d be awesome
I would love Beretta to pick up the Russian 5.45mm X 18mm PISTOL round and put it in a Tomcat. Imagine the PSM's round in a tip-up barreled pocket pistol. Of course, Beretta would also have to partner with someone to provide the ammo as well. The 5.45 X 18 is very rare in the West.
Always have wanted a 3032!!! These are SWEET!!!
I want one... Threaded-Concealable. Multi-Designs. That’s awesome.
I don't think he is excited about this exclusive reveal enough.
We need more excitement from him and Beretta.
I am personally beyond excited about this exclusive reveal. Excited can't express how really excited I feel about this.
Please don't excite us like this because it's too much excitement to handle.
I am just so excited...
Kill me please.
Love my 950 .25 auto!! Easiest CC weapon on Earth!
I recently sold my Bobcat, aging eyes had a hard time with those sights. All those upgrades and they forgot better sights, what a shame because it's a great " young mans gun "
For years I’ve added a touch of bright red automotive touch up paint to the front sight and that’s been an inexpensive fix for me.
@@ol-Sarge thet used to make a alleycat with a big dot tritium sight ,,, I thing that is what deadted was talking about
Cheetah bro! Bring it back
The 81's and 84's didn't go away. Unfortunately, Beretta has decided to not import them to the United States.
RickJZ1973 yea that’s what I heard. There are still a lot out there ( in the states ) tho. I just saw a beautiful chromed version in a gun shop yesterday . Classic firearms has the cheetah .32 ( model 81) in stock for like 209$ but is all out of .380 version ( model 84) .
Jeremiah Cherry hell yeah, one of my favorite guns, wish I still had it!
@@burtonkephart6239 not trying to make you look stupid but..
When was the last time you were in a store and saw a sticker price on anything that was written like 100$ vs $100. I realize that you say it one way, but you are supposed to write it with the $ sign in FRONT of the amount.
I see this mistake quite a lot these days, and can't help but wonder, what teachers are teaching their students.
This is pretty basic stuff here
folks. When you write it the wrong way, it really makes you look challenged. Just saying...
Please bring back the model 71 Jaguar!!!
I liked the last one with the blued frame, stainless barrel, and wood grips. Real nice. May have to get one if the price is right.
with the 2 new optional silencers they really go James Bond. Actually would be perfect to carry in the pocket will running traps.
I’ve been wanting one for years bob or tomcat.
I like the covert and military style with the threaded barrels.
The elephant in the room nobody seems willing to address, is regarding the cracked frames that have plagued the .32ACP models for years. I mean, .32 ACP is not an over powered round, but as I recall, ammo that goes over a certain recoil impulse level will supposedly crack the frame on these guns, even models designed to overcome this problem. Sounds like incredibly crappy metallurgy to me. I love the basic .32 Tomcat design but until I quit reading of cracked frames for a few years, no way would I pay out that kind of dough for one of these.
The newer Tomcats have reinforced frames. They are durable but ridiculously wide and heavy.
Bring back the 25 ACP
Carry a 25 if it makes you feel good, but do not ever load it. If you load it you may shoot it. If you shoot it you may hit somebody, and if you hit somebody, and he finds out about it, he may be very angry with you.”
- Col. Jeff Cooper
Shouldn’t it have higher sights for the suppressor?
I bought a new INOX Bobcat for $295 a few years back. $600 would be hard to swallow for a .22lr.
Upgrade the Tomcat to .380 please SOLD! Or as others have said 22WMR!
why 32 acp is a good round
The TomCat was an uprated Bobcat that cracks frames. Further upsizing would be a very BAD idea in my opinion - "do the math".
@@veiledzorba ummm I agree it doesnt need to be .380. . The Tomcat model was 32 acp. but....The Alleycat also 32 acp. with nightsights
Agree that .32 ACP is a good round. With proper metalurgy like stainless steel, and a litlle thicker where it needs it, I think it could handle .380 just fine.
@@edstringer1138 yup tons of bullet options, always in stock at stores and has tons of hitting power compared to lesser rounds like 380.
Erik is THE MAN. Beretta wouldn't be Beretta without him.
Just picked up 2 Tomcats 30 32.Love them
Erik Stern is a cool guy. Love the Bobcats.
Wanted a 21A for years here in California.
Are they Ca legal?
I had one of those bobcat .22 extremely finicky about ammo, traded for a revolver and never looked back.

Never had a problem with my tomcat (alley cat)
I was really hoping they were going to come out with the .25 ACP again.
Mr. Mark I got one from my grandma. It was her purse gun.
Mr. Mark Just picked up a mod 20 in 25ACP for $150, love this lil gun. Absolutely no reason this lil thing can’t be carried 24/7 as backup!!
I see the appeal of .25acp but .32 has a much better availability and far better balistics.
@@milesnorsworthy946 lol, me too! She kept it in the box it came in in her nightstand.
That's why I clicked the video. If only to get a Beretta factory threaded barrel for it.
These are great guns - thanks Beretta! One of these is definitely in my future.
It’s about time they offer the 21a threaded! Now we need .25acp. Sure it’s anemic, but it’s fun as sh*t to shoot.
Why am I not surprised you were excited to have this gun manufactured and you can’t wait for it to be available. Who are the people who are excited to buy one?
.22 magnum please
I can't even buy nor own , one these here in my country.....

I'd love a tomcat. I just bought two pt22 by Taurus for the same price same thing.
The panda one takes the cake. I'll have to have one and will probably polish the barrel and change out the grips for pearl.
Very nice small handgun 21 A .thanks for posting ( RCL veterans) 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇫🇷🇬🇧
Really hope since Beretta is listening to customers that they fire everyone in customer service dept and hire new people that would revamp the company
Don't shoot the messenger.
I had a 21 in 25acp for years. In 3k rounds or so never a misfire.
Best shot show piece I've seen. Thanks for sharing!
glad I bought a wood grips bobcat on gun broker. plan to get one of these but might have to wait a bit at that price lol
Covert models and FDE are out their but difficult to find, unable to find any of the others. FDE 32 $650, Coverts $600
Will beretta be producing these in .25? Will they be as reliable as the 950 jetfire? Or will they produce them in .380?
I think he's really excited....
They need a Tomcat variant to be made as a hammerless DAO with a threaded barrel, the safety converted to a slide lock (for use with suppressors), a beveled magwell (I beveled mine and it really helps with reloads), and XS Bigdot style drift-adjustable sights. Just add Lasergrips and you have a cool "spy gun" you can carry in a pocket.
@John Kugelfischer I haven't seen one explode since they went to the heavier slide and frame. That was 10 years ago.
I've wanted this for awhile. Will be getting as soon as possible
I still see the 25 ACP on their website. But none of these. I want one of these new models but in 25 ACP. I already have a few in 22 LR. Are they not going to make them in 25 ACP?
We have from time to time used on our site.
Great more models of guns from Beretta that will be out of stock for months. If They were really listening to consumers they would bring back the cheetah series in 32 and 380.
Spot on Derek. The whole time watching the video I thought “well this is all nice and cute and all, but if you brought back the 380 and killed the Pico I’d be all over it.”
@@DanUtley pico is discontinued
I have a cheetah 380 and love it . I'd get a surplus 32 but the mags are $35 each .
Saw this video when it first came out, don’t know why it’s on my recommendation list. That being said, this makes me feel like it should be on Forgotten Weapons!
I carry the 21a in 25acp. What we’ve been asking for is the 3032 in 380acp get it done for 2021
Gunguy 83 22 is more effective and cheaper
But they would have to fix the cracking frame issues on the .32 tomcats
txmike418 I thought they already did! I have the old original tomcat that was made before they beefed up the slide which I thought fixed the issues? I really don’t like my tomcat simply because the barrel is just so short for a .32. Might be better for the smaller 22lr . So I’m glad they are adding a threaded barrel which will automatically lengthen the barrel even if it’s only .25 inch lol!
John Kugelfischer you bought a gun with a cracked frame or slide already in it ??!! That doesn’t make much sense . I hear your frustration and can definitely understand it if you got a bad gun . The model I have is the old beretta tomcat that was made before the newer ones with the heavier slides. Mine still hasn’t cracked anyway so no complaints other than it’s a very small short barreled gun especially for a .32 cal.
@@reaganriddle1583 It's not more effective, but it is cheaper.
I need to get one. Finally!
Prices are going bat shit crazy for mouse guns
I'd be cool if the safety was usable as a slide lock maybe when fully cocked to make it a single shot.
It'd ?
I would like an aftermarket 4" bbl for my 21A.
Coming out in Q3? It is October. I'm pretty sure that is Q4. Still not on your website.
Just picked up the M9a3 mini. 420
Hope they fixed the issues with the frames cracking
Derek Wood I had The 32 with a cracked frame had to get rid of it Hopefully this solve the issue
I have a Bobcat 21A in .25 acp. I got it used for $149 out the door......yeah Beretta your prices are killing you.
The Tomcat is the most famous personal defense protection .32 caliber round! Bobcat is also cool too!
Now if Crimson Trace would bring back the LG409 laser grip.....
Oh they don’t have that anymore for the tomcat ?
make them in a decent caliber like .22 mag or .380 and lower the price!
They wouldn't fit the frame
You won't get a 380 in that platform it's too small.
32 acp is right in the middle lol
Wish they would start making the Little 25 caliber again I would buy one. I have a FIE TITAN 25 that I carry in a pocket holster that I have carried for years and it has never failed me. During the winter I can strap on the Walther P99 or the Walther PPK/S as they are under my coat. But let's face it, they don't hide well under T-shirts in 90 degree weather and the FIE. Titan fills the bill. Better to have a mouse gun than no gun at all!
How many times did he say excited?
Love me some Beretta... but COME ON!!! Love my ancient 21a but at those prices a S&W Model 43c would be my choice.
That covert model looks sick
My favorite mouse gun. Please bring back the .380 Cheetah.
I find the only quality Berettas to be pre-2000
Yeah, they've been screwing the pooch for 20 solid years now

thank god finally a new 32!
How about a 20 round double stack mag?
Funny guy. Go get a model 84 or 81. 12-13 rounds lol! Seriously tho there is a promag mag that is single stack that holds like 10
@@burtonkephart6239 i got my wife the 32 version tomcat
@@burtonkephart6239 Have you got a link to this promag? Haven't found any with capacity more than 7
I had one with rosewood grips that really was a pocket gun that was under $300 when I bought mine and I thought that was high (at the time)!!!! The one thing I'd mention is that weapon was the most finicky thing I've ever owned when it comes to the ammunition that it likes. Mini-Mags or Stingers, any of the ultra premium ammo is what my gun liked. Otherwise it'd jam up, misfire and just be something like a novelty instead of a gun. But fill the clip with Stingers or something similar and it was like the gun you always wanted it to be!!! So save yourself the trouble and ONLY use those high end .22 shells through this pistol...personally I would like to see one available in .22 Magnum which I always thought to be a great round (due to owning a rifle in that caliber)...
P.S. I think Taurus makes a small pocket pistol just like the 21a with the tip up barrel that has a much more consumer friendlier price.
Please expand the capacity or offer extended magazines
I've got the .22 short awesome little pocket plinker!
Missed opportunity to add new calibers. .380 would be expected, something like 5.7 would be really interesting. I know it would need a redesign for higher power cartridges but a re-release would be the perfect time.
John Hurley they’ve made the cheetah in 380 for many years now.
Why it comes no extra magazine, could we suggest a free suppressor and crimson trace laser grips
Please bring back the 84 FS 13 rd. .380 Cheetah! 🙏
Nickle plated.
Covert 21A? Take my money!
Did u guys fixed the tomcats breaking yet
Dam now I’m going to have to get one in 32 acp. Wish they had night sights though. I’m going broke too many guns coming out.
You can get laser sights for the tomcat but raises the price ! I think the laser sights are on the grip etc might be crimson trace idk. Definitely a must have if this gun is your serious carry gun
So glad Beretta is now offering factory threaded barrels!
Now, though, seriously, the 21A is SO THICK, isn't it about time y'all experimented with a higher capacity magazine? Those are really not enough smaller than most of the little .380s (and really not a whole lot smaller than a J-frame revolver) to justify the price and carry. BUT, having, say, 11 rounds on hand might really make the difference. They are certainly great guns for folks with limited hand strength and/or disabilities that limit their handling of recoil. They're well made, almost works of art, but ... SO ... bloody ... THICK for a pocket .22
Great job Erik
They should re-release the TI AlleyCat with a threaded barrel as an option. That would be spensive but so sick!
Que sonho! Queria eu poder ter uma de cada, essa micro compacta é meu sonho de consumo! 🥺😍
