I have always wanted to see some eccentric billionaire that all the sudden decides that he wants an entire mansion made from mostly Legos, but if it was me I would insist on participating in the construction process myself. And no glue, all free standing Legos except where sealant is necessary which would be mostly in the outside or plumbing areas.
Great to have Gabby co-presenting some of these with you Tim, enjoying getting her opinion as well.

😂😂Casper was the perfect excuse for the parents to get their long-time wanted Lego Hotel experience. It’s actually really cute. 😊 I can imagine Casper slept on the big bed and the parents went to the bunk beds and had a pillow fight and all.
Tim is the true goat of vlogs. Been watching for 3 years now the content remains consistently at a high level always helps me choose where I'm going to go and stay.
This is how the cars move on their own. Beneath these paths are cables that emit a low-level radio wave specific to each vehicle - the vehicle picks up this signal, and uses it to steer. When the vehicle reaches one of the charging points dotted around it's track, it stops. One of the computers registers this, and a timer is started. When the timer reaches zero, the power to the charger is cut, and this signals the vehicle to continue along it's path. Outside park opening hours, the vehicles stop on the charging points and recharge fully overnight.
Really? That seems a complicated and jank solution. I would've expected a strong magnet on a track below the surface with another magnet inside the vehicle dragging it round
Hi Tim. I must admit I wasn't sure I would enjoy this video as Lego is not usually my thing but I'm glad I did see it because it was really a lot of fun to watch. The presentation / playful vibe made it appealing for adults. Involving Gaby in the room tour really worked well. Great teamwork! and Casper having so much fun was a real highlight! Wish we had something like this when I was a kid in the 70's. Look forward to your stay in the little Lego house next year!
Quick test on the floor. Cleanliness is look at the bottom of the footies on Casper. He’s got white on or light colored footies so that should tell how clean the floor is if they’ve got dirty bottoms.
I think the little safe was meant to be unlocked with the little activity piece of paper you guys got on the table, when you crack the code with clues around the room it opens the safe, remember the same thing when staying at chessington and getting a couple of themed goodies! Great in depth video though definitely think I'll be staying soon!
Hope you did the treasure hunt (piece of paper on table you showed) you look for answers to clues around the hotel, that will give you the 4 numbers you need to open the lock and inside would be a little gift for the kids staying in the room! They love doing it so worth doing
Over the Christmas period I have introduced my 77 year old Mum to your channel. We have watched a lot of your videos, centre parcs, the grand hotel Llandudno, Prestatyn Pontins, Alton Towers, the Las Vegas hotels, Beverly Hills hotel, glass igloo, most northern hotel, etc, etc, of all the videos we have watched she said she liked this one the most. We went to legoland when I was about 12 (28 years ago) and they didn’t have a hotel then, and now she is saying at 77 years old that she wants to go back and stay there 😂
I was actually fascinated by the miniatures of different Legoland....las vegas sign, Hollywood sign, etc...loved that. The hotel was interesting...a little much for an adult but interesting. Casper looked like he was having the best time! So cute!😊
You were seeing vehicles moving through the streets without tracks. The technique to make this happen is quite simple. Beneath the streets are tracks that guide the vehicles. They are wired with magnets that pulls the vehicles which also have magnets beneath them. As the tracks below the street move they pull the vehicle's magnet. Like moving a magnet around under a flat surface with your hand. Above is another magnet of opposite poles. As you move the magnet below it drags along the magnet above. Looks almost like magic. Cool, huh?
I absolutely adore your content. It's my favourite on UA-cam right now. I love how you cover everything, but also include the amusing parts with you and your family!
Thank you yet again Tim Gabby & Casper, as usual you covered everything, brilliant tour, I enjoyed it all, the detail was so exciting. Thank you for sharing. 😘💚
Love your videos, but i have to say i love them way more when Gaby comes along and is involved in the video. its great to hear different opinions especially as parents and as a couple :) but either way i love watching and have been for a long time now keep up the great work with what you guys do :D
I took my girlfriend there for the first time just after covid and we stayed in a Knights and Dragons room. Was really nice in the hotel, had a short go in the pool but that was more for young kids. The park itself was quiet so no long queues, the stay was perfect with weather great and just enough time to enjoy all the rides. Eating in the restaurants was nice with a breakfast included in the price. We got a really good deal, great video by the way as it brings back loads of good memories. 👍
Afternoon Tim Thank you for the Legoland vlog which looks really good. I haven't been but must go. Hotel room looked good. Nice and clean which is great. Lego land looked quite fun. Thank you again.
I wish I took my daughter here when she was younger, she would have loved it, Gabby made me laugh when she spotted the bugs prints on the carpet. Then when you both were testing the bed 😂😂, little Casper was is so cute, love how he walk up the ramp to the little slow train.
I remember visiting Legoland when I was little years ago. I love the miniland that was my favourite part! Loved the Holland part with a lego Dutch Street Organ.
Hi guys, just caught up, great vlog, you did enjoy Tim,your childhood re born! Loved seeing Gaby and Casper he just makes your heart smile, he loved running about, hes growing up so fast now, thanks for sharing your adventures at legoland, loved it. See you soon take care 😊xx
I am sure there is already a comment explaining it, but the vehicles are moving with magnets that are ofcourse below the surface. I think you can tell by the way they actually turn! Love the videos, subbed and been invested! Love the vlogs and definitely love to see Gabby too it's definitely a better experience where you both bounce off eachother!
I've never had the slightest interest in Lego, but I really enjoyed this. I love the theming, and the child's voice in the lift (if I heard it right) was an original and imaginative touch. I'd totally agree with the comments about the food.
I really want to visit for the miniature world alone, it looks incredible! Last time I visited was (literally) decades ago - with an upset belly so didn't take in much at all! Thanks for the fun tour Tim & Gaby!
I can't wait for a couple years from now when Casper is old enough to ride the rides and enjoy them. Also, he can build with Lego's and no fear for his safety. Great video!!
I’d love to take my 2 boys to Legoland and I really wanna book the hotel now! Thanks Tim..I love the Lego to play with in the room and the toddler seat on the toilet that’s so good. I understand having it at the level of a toddler would be difficult as he puts the Lego in his mouth but I think it’s good for older children. Thanks for another great video Tim
Been here loads as Windsor is my fav place! I love the view to see Windsor castle as well! I hope you had a great time! I heard there was recently a fire here because of the Dragon. However idk. The hotel reception is alot more advanced than when I went about 8 years ago lol - have a great rest of your day, keep being u!
Hi Tim, we love Lego/Legoland, after seeing your review I think we should treat ourselves to a night in the hotel too! ... you must bring Casper to Legoland when he's older, he'll love flight of the lion, splash safari and drench towers. PS, your videos with Gaby and Casper are always a bit more special ❤
Me and my husband stayed here a few years ago as my husband is a big Lego fan. We stayed in a ninjago room. The safe in the room has a free Lego toy inside, when you solve the puzzle on the activity sheet it gives you the code for the safe. We didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant as had heard bad things about it, we actually ordered pizza to be delivered to the hotel! We went during term time so the queues for the rides were shorter and went on most of them. Shame the Viking ride is still closed as was when we went. The scariest ride in the park was surprisingly the friends horse ride.
Did you know that Lego Land is built on the former Windsor safari park. Formerly a quarry. It was featured on one of the on the buses' films starring reg varney who incidentally was the 1st person to use a hole in the wall cash dispenser.
Hi Tim Gaby and Casper I only live about 7 miles away from legoland. My husband works in Windsor. I've been to legoland twice it's a great Park for the kiddies. I love Mini land it's very good brilliant details. I'd say out of the Merlin parks Legoland is the best for entertainment. Really lovely to see Casper enjoying himself he is such a cutie. Great vlog thanks for sharing with us. Love to you all as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Thanks for showing us round guys , I’ve never been there before , I would be happy just going round the miniature land that was great , your lil boy always looks so happy and definitely looked like he enjoyed it there
I took my sons to Legoland Billund in 1989 aged 9 & 7 at the time. They had a great time. Legoland Windsor opened in 1996, I've been there with young people with special needs. I must give the staff & park 5⭐ they would provide a room where we could leave belongings and somewhere for personal care. Always helpful.
I have been to LegoLand Windsor for the day tennish years ago.....but nothing like this...this is an amazing place.....Magic for young ones old very old like me!.Would love to visit here.....and the hotels were so cute.
Colourful and fun. And watch Casper go.....!!! I reckon he's got Olympic potential there Tim for the 100m sprint! Bless him. What a lovely place for kids big and small to go to and a lovely room as well. Great video. x J x
I think everything is clean but I’m so happy you took your son I was wondering what Legoland looks like I’ll live maybe an hour and a half away from there and I appreciate this video and your son is getting so big I just love him I love all three of 5:51 you❤❤❤
I would love to go there. I love Lego.. and i love the little models. Shame about the swimming pool being small. Casper is so cute. Love to you all❤xxxxx
Hi Tim and Gaby thank you for yet another excellent video and I just want to add my fiancee who will be my wife at 2.30 on Wednesday afternoon says seeing Casper with that huge smile on his face is just priceless.
Hi Tim - great video! I believe that the fire truck and the other vehicles in mini land are operated using batteries. The batteries would be attached to the vehicles themselves, and then underneath the road surface. I saw the same technique used in a mini diorama youtube video.
When we went to Lego land in 2016 we stayed off site in a Hilton at Bracknell. This was considerably cheaper that the Lego land hotel and a very short drive . Unfortunately we only had one day in Lego land and missed about a 3 rd of the park. It really is a fab place to visit and will be even better when Casper is older so he can enjoy more things. Thanks for sharing 😊
We have been here 3 times but stayed in windsor as the legoland hotel was very exspensive in july..There is a bus which runs from windsor to the gates of the park frequently as we dont drive so was really handy and Windsor is beautiful we where 2 minutes away from the castle
Great vlog Tim... As a kid grew up playing with Lego... Would have loved this as a kid... Tim you put so much into vlogs... Keep the great vlogs coming.... Cx
Hi Tim. Found this about how the cars move: From an unofficial Legoland Windsor fan site 'Completely LEGOLAND Windsor'. Road Vehicles The cars, lorries and buses all appear to move and steer on their own, never leaving their set paths, yet not using any rails. How on Earth do they manage that? Beneath these paths are cables that emit a low-level radio wave specific to each vehicle - the vehicle picks up this signal, and uses it to steer. When the vehicle reaches one of the charging points dotted around it's track, it stops. One of the computers registers this, and a timer is started. When the timer reaches zero, the power to the charger is cut, and this signals the vehicle to continue along it's path. Outside park opening hours, the vehicles stop on the charging points and recharge fully overnight. Trains The trains work in a similar fashion to the road vehicles, but follow tracks instead of radio signals. When a train approaches a station, the train passes over 'slow down bars', which tell the onboard microprocessor to slow the motor. When it reaches a charging point, one of which is located at each station, a signal is sent to the control room, at which point a timer is started both in the control centre and in the train's microprocessor. Unlike the road vehicles, which can only go forward at a certain speed, the trains can go forwards, backwards, and vary their speed. Boats The boats are attached to rubber loops, which can clearly be seen under the water. These are driven by motors controlled by the computers in the control centre. A piece of metal on the hull of the boat allow sensors along the boat's track to detect the boat, and let the computer know where the boat is. The computer then uses this information to initiate various sequences, such as raising bridges, or opening and closing locks and powering water pumps.
That looked so fun Tim! I would love to stay there with my family. I wonder if they have one of these in the U.S. Your little guy Casper was so cute! It looked like a ball to stay in that hotel with the lovely water view. Miniland looked like a hoot! You just must stay in those little cabins when they open next year! Cheers! 🎉🍻
I remember when Legoland Windsor was still Windsor Safari Park and when it eventually turned into Legoland - but never went there, as I was a bit too old for it by that time, so it's interesting to see what it's like inside.
Thank u for the tour, great to see, especially loved the mini LEGO,oh and that duck 🦆 was loving it..the food sadly looked unappealing 😮,. the view from yr room abit of a check to charge..glad the room looked cleaned phew 😅..
What a coincidence being able to see both Hotels in same week. I struggle in standard Hotel bathroom as I need a wheelchair accessible room. I happened on Jo's Wheel Life who stayed in Castle Hotel this week so on there you get to see size and facilities in bathroom and roof hoist which is a essential for some adults and children it might be something useful if you need this level or you know someone with child or adult who does. I flinch at memories of standing on my daughters lego but now, at 32 she is still obsessed with lego so thanks for a great idea for sending daughter and son in law on a holiday.
Hi Tim. I remember watching a TV show about LegoLand a few months ago where they showed you exclusive behind the scenes stuff, and to answer your question, I believe the cars in Mini Land are programmed to go round using sensors underneath the path.
You’re doing a great job guys, making hotels sit up and listen to feedback, hopefully improving standards as a result. Love this hotel and review, keep up the vids, do some more in Yorkshire please !
Great video from you all as always been toying with the idea of going to Legoland for years now looks great fun you guys have helped me make my mind up my kids will love it. Thanks so much guys looking forward to your next video👍👍👍.
The castle hotel rooms are definitely more fun! They are more expensive, but in my opinion worth it. And the quiz gives you a code to open the safe in the room!
Hello Tim and Gaby, what a brilliant video, there seems to be alot of stuff for the kids and adults lol 😂,the miniature city is awesome and seeing cars moved moving.
I think it would benefit you all to get a Merlin annual pass Tim. This covers Lego land , Chessington world of adventures , Alton towers etc. we have had them for years and love them.
Great video Tim and Gaby, I can't believe it opened in 1996 !! , mini world is great, as a child we used to go to Torquay and they had a toy village , I loved it so much I wanted to live in it LOL
When my boys were a little younger, we were pass holders at legoland and probably went about 4 or 5 times a year - we loved it. One of its downsides is that the queues on both the app and outside the ride near no relevance to the actual ride time! I think that the peak age for kids to go is about 3-10 - take Casper back in a couple of years and he’ll love it. The “dark@ rides at legoland are probably the best - the submarines are very clever and you see lots of fish, the haunted house spins around you, Ninjago ride is a clever 3d one. But, my favourite ride (I went last month with my nephew and niece) is the Flight of the Sky Lion - that’s absolutely incredible! Thank you for taking us into the hotel - with the exception of the food, it looks great!
I've been to Legoland in winter park fl. When my son was 8. It was just opened back then and I loved it. I'm sure it's alot different now. Back then there wasn't a hotel yet but it was announced they were going to build one. Luv seeing your vlog of Legoland in the UK.
Great video. Many years ago i went to the original Legoland in Denmark which (from memory) had more of the quieter aspects and less of the funfair-type rides etc, at least back then. With a toddler, having him pan for gold for more fun than going on a ride. Somewhere I still have his Legoland driving licence, complete with photo. The Danish one was very international, and the driving school had kids of all sorts, each given a lego flag to put on their car, so the "traffic policeman" could shout at time in an appropriate language. They even had Japanese flags.
Excellent Vlog Definitely be taking our grandchildren there. Am from Liverpool and always wanted to go but cause of the distance never got to go. Our daughter lives in Southend on sea so gives us a chance to go. The cars move with Magnets, it’s a track under the floor and they move cause of the magnets 🧲 attached to the track and cars. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Wow 😮this is sooo coool:) the themeing the designing 😍its like they went for an Egyptian theming so i kinda think the carpet ment to be that colour 🙈such great themeing on all floors😊deffenetely reminds you of the waterpark hotel at Alton Towers. A great room and hotel🥰and theme park great little themel. Literally looked like so much fun any age🥰deffenetely soo be awesome to go.. aaw thanks for doing this ❤love this 😊🥰. Sending loves to you all. ANd also cannot believe little Casper..saying words wen he said Dada bless him melted my heart bless him ❤xx
Our family love Lego and loved going to the park when younger. The trick is to go earlier in the year when it's overcast maybe with a chance of rain, wait times greatly reduced!
That note pad in the room is for your scavenger hunt. Go through the hotel when you find the what you are looking for there is a number next to it, when you get everything on the list, those numbers will open that safe in your room and in there is little lego set pack to take home. Its fun for the kids!! In my experience I always check in at front desk so the hotel employee can tell you about all the fun things they have! 😊
Should YOU stay at Alton Towers Resorts Hotels? 👉ua-cam.com/video/m7oQBRFpl8c/v-deo.html
can you show us the rides at the theme park TOO?
not first time my text been deleted and im leaving your and gaby group plus cancelling being a member to.
It isn't for me Tim but it looked lovely. Everything very nicely built so beautiful
Tim , please stay a night in the Drovers inn near Loch Lomond
It is on my to do list, have never been to Alton Towers.
Its hilarious how continuously surprised you are at the amount of Lego at a Legoland Hotel😂
We a simple Norfolk people. We are impressed by the vast amount of Lego at Lego land lol😂

Agree 100% always interesting, sometimes critical but rightly so, and praise where its due....

I'm an old woman but I would love to go LegoLand, I especially enjoyed the miniature setups. So charming.
Quick test on the floor. Cleanliness is look at the bottom of the footies on Casper. He’s got white on or light colored footies so that should tell how clean the floor is if they’ve got dirty bottoms.
Children must absolutely love this lego park ,if they are happy ,thats all we want😊

The room is quite busy. With so much going on in that room (Lego overload) I’d certainly get dizzy. Kids must absolutely love Lego land!
All the small details for children really impressed me.

Her expression at the "how many in a shower" - she needs to be in more. Love this one and the campervan episode.
Wow, fantastic Tim. Lucky Casper will have fun.❤
Really good video as always love getting home from work and chilling watching one of your videos
Awesome! Thank you!
Hi Tim and Gaby thank you for yet another excellent video and I just want to add my fiancee who will be my wife at 2.30 on Wednesday afternoon says seeing Casper with that huge smile on his face is just priceless.
I am only 86 years old and I loved this. Thank you
Hi Tim - great video! I believe that the fire truck and the other vehicles in mini land are operated using batteries. The batteries would be attached to the vehicles themselves, and then underneath the road surface. I saw the same technique used in a mini diorama youtube video.
Thanks for the info!
We have been here 3 times but stayed in windsor as the legoland hotel was very exspensive in july..There is a bus which runs from windsor to the gates of the park frequently as we dont drive so was really handy and Windsor is beautiful we where 2 minutes away from the castle
my husband stayed there over 9 yrs ago and enjoyed it for 3 days
Great vlog Tim... As a kid grew up playing with Lego...
Would have loved this as a kid...
Tim you put so much into vlogs...
Keep the great vlogs coming....
Cx
Thanks so much
Hi Tim. Found this about how the cars move:
From an unofficial Legoland Windsor fan site 'Completely LEGOLAND Windsor'.
Road Vehicles
The cars, lorries and buses all appear to move and steer on their own, never leaving their set paths, yet not using any rails.
Trains
The trains work in a similar fashion to the road vehicles, but follow tracks instead of radio signals.
Boats
The boats are attached to rubber loops, which can clearly be seen under the water.
Love the blurring of the feet out when you both tested the bed 🤣
Perhaps they didn't want the foot fanciers making comments!
Tbh it was to hide gabys short dress
That looked so fun Tim! I would love to stay there with my family. I wonder if they have one of these in the U.S. Your little guy Casper was so cute! It looked like a ball to stay in that hotel with the lovely water view. Miniland looked like a hoot! You just must stay in those little cabins when they open next year! Cheers! 🎉🍻
Casper needs a page called run with me. It’s so nice to see videos with your family enjoying the hotel.
I remember when Legoland Windsor was still Windsor Safari Park and when it eventually turned into Legoland - but never went there, as I was a bit too old for it by that time, so it's interesting to see what it's like inside.
Love the video, went there with my children back in the nineties brought back memories good one.
I happened on
Jo's Wheel Life who stayed in Castle Hotel this week so on there you get to see size and facilities in bathroom and roof hoist which is a essential for some adults and children it might be something useful if you need this level or you know someone with child or adult who does.
I flinch at memories of standing on my daughters lego but now, at 32 she is still obsessed with lego so thanks for a great idea for sending daughter and son in law on a holiday.
Took our kids here 25 years ago. Still have their driving licenses 😊
lol
Hi Tim. I remember watching a TV show about LegoLand a few months ago where they showed you exclusive behind the scenes stuff, and to answer your question, I believe the cars in Mini Land are programmed to go round using sensors underneath the path.
I was thinking something like that or a magnet that had a set path
You’re doing a great job guys, making hotels sit up and listen to feedback, hopefully improving standards as a result. Love this hotel and review, keep up the vids, do some more in Yorkshire please !
It was a very good travel day blog today when you chilling out and staying in Legoland windsor resort tim and gaby / Casper aswell
thanks Eugene
Really enjoyed the look around legoland something we wouldnt see normally i watched quite a few of your videos now look forward to some more
Hi Tim, Gaby n Thumps gosh that looked like so much fun maybe next year I'll take the Grandchildren there thanks once again for a lovely video
Surprising you had no idea that was Raiders floor. Loved this vid!
Great video from you all as always been toying with the idea of going to Legoland for years now looks great fun you guys have helped me make my mind up my kids will love it. Thanks so much guys looking forward to your next video👍👍👍.
What a fascinating place to stay, thank you for taking us along.
Our pleasure!
Omg Casper is so adorable!!
The castle hotel rooms are definitely more fun! They are more expensive, but in my opinion worth it. And the quiz gives you a code to open the safe in the room!
Tim’s face at 9:21 😂😂
Hello Tim and Gaby, what a brilliant video, there seems to be alot of stuff for the kids and adults lol 😂,the miniature city is awesome and seeing cars moved moving.
Lol
Excellent Vlog
Definitely be taking our grandchildren there.
