Loved Lego. ❤️ Built stuff all the time. When I was a kid it was very affordable and you did not get kits that can be used for one purpose only, but basic buliding bricks and you had to use your imaginaiton.
No I was never very good with Lego I always found it a bit fiddly. But I remember playing more with StickleBricks! Tho you never hear of those now! I was a child of the 80's-90's.
Always loved Lego, our grandchildren loved building all sorts, houses, stables for the horses, they go riding 😊, now and love it. This looks very interesting Tim, I hope I get notification for this one 😮xx
Tim, I really enjoy when you are able to bring Gaby and Casper. Gaby is so relatable and you two are both class. And of course watching little Casper exploring and discovering things reminds us all to hang on to our childlike curiosity. I know you can't quite have the same family time in front of the camera, but always appreciate when you share some of these moments with us, Tim. I would've LOVED to do something like this as a young kid.
@jonathanj.3695 That is something *pre-Chapek* Disney would have done. Unfortunately, we now live in the Disney era of "Basically a mid-tier Hilton but we stuck some character art on the walls and charged double Hilton prices."
The concept is very cute & great way to kind of unplug from TV & enjoy family. I was expecting a bit more Lego theme to be executed in the room & land but still really cool to see. Even as adults we love Lego!!!! Beautiful family ❤
You expected more lego? 😂 Perhaps the camera didn't do it justice. I highly recommend going to legoland for real because its brilliant. There's lego galore. Xxx
Tim should create a spin-off channel called "Shower With Tim" "And next week on the channel, I try out the showers in the Houses of Parliament to see how many newly elected MPs can fit in them."
The lodge looked amazing from the outside, very basic inside with a tv that didn’t work properly.I think that they defo need some more staff and what staff have got need do better training and not serve or ignore people who are paying their wages at the end of the day. Food looks ok very expensive and poor quality a bit like haven… I think u should have been reimbursed for poor quality meals and serve, I can’t believe that is only a couple of months old. Love Caspar, Gaby with Caspar and building Lego together, he is so cute 😀👍
Wondering if they will have Lego carpet? That way you get to experience the joy of a stray Lego piece embedding itself into the sole of your foot every time you step into a room.
I don't think the room or lodges look particularly appealing tbh. Very basic and almost using the lego theme as an excuse for simplicity. Can't help but think of a hospital kids waiting room looking and the features of the room. I know it's for kids, but it should hold up for the adults staying there too. Looks tidy though.
Nah, it’s appealing and fine. To be fair, I don’t know the price. But it fits the vibe of a mountain lodge. It’s Lego, a high quality kids product. Not a genuine lifestyle or luxury brand. I would expect 3 to high 3/5. The outside is pretty cool but they tone down the interior for the adults bringing their kids. The color palette is more than enough to nod to the theming. That same scheme would be out of place in anything but a Lego room… using subway tile as a Lego motif is actually very tasteful, balancing the appeal to both kid and adult. I’d 100% appreciate this if I had kids. Enough to keep their Legoland high going while being toned down enough inside to not go crazy 😂
Idk. It's a hotel. You don't go on vacation for a hotel room. You stay in a hotel to sleep. The place was clean and comfortable. I guess I am just different. I use hotels to sleep, not as my vacation destination.
So glad we made it in the video! I'm walking behind with Vic and baby Rowan when your going to your lodge. The second night for us was a nightmare at the restaurant.
I’m 61 and don’t recall having legos but I loved Lincoln logs and tinker toys and when I was around 12 I loved building sugar cube buildings with glue.
I think they had them in Europe, not sure though. I know when my younger brother, who is now 50, was little, about 5, he got a Lego plane from a friend of the family who worked for Lufthansa. It’s the 1st time I ever saw a Lego.
My son worked in Legoland before he went to university and he said that no matter what department you were allocated to you were always firefighting the tasks, it was very much leave that becuse this needs doing urgently, then something else would crop up and it could take ages to get back to the original task.
For what is included in the price, it is good value. I could spend all day in Mini Land! The accommodation had great theming, especially for youngsters. Very unimpressed with the restaurant and food, but these types of places are usually overpriced (captive audience) and Merlin, I am aware, has increased their food prices quite considerably this year. As for Lego, Gaby, there is now the Friends female range for you! And, late in life, I started building Lego! Obviously the adult sets(!) which, admittedly, are a bit expensive but greatly enjoyable and relaxing. Great seeing Thumps and his reactions to everything.
Very enjoyable and quite a unique place, I've never seen one reviewed before, I like how thorough you are. And a delightful surprise when Gaby appeared with Casper, the feminine perspective is so relatable.
I got offered the opportunity to possibly work as a manager in that restaurant recently and after seeing this it seems they really do need a considerable amount of help 😂😂😂
The bungalow you rented was adorable. I really liked it. I don't remember having Legos as a child. I'll be 72 in September. Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys were popular when I was a child. Casper is such a sweet boy. The Mini Land was fantastic. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Oh my goodness your child is so adorable! And so big! I don’t think he’s even 3 or 4 yet huh?! On account of the stroller. Looked like a wonderful time! Love mini land! ❤
Love the Lego Houses. The room was very colorful and Lively. Awesome Lego Land adventure except the food and the service.Loves like Caster have a great time. Another amazing video with Gaby and Casper. God Bless❤
I am 51 and i still make legosets and sinds cupple of months also creating my own house in lego and the mountain of waterloo in Belgium. One thing is certain, you can never be too old to play with lego or never get too old.
Hi Tim and fam, loved the vlog, it's very colourful and lots to see, loved the model area too. Little Casper's face on the rides he's adorable, thos curls ,🥰. The room was great, the children's bedroom was lovely I think Casper enjoyed it in there with the bricks. Thanks for this loved it, see you all soon, bye for now. Gaby see you on coffee morning tomorrow. Big hugs 🤗 xxx
Timmy Boy, you should get the Lego architecture series! It’s more for adults. And since you travel the world. It would be nice for you to collect every place you’ve been.
Looks like an enjoyable place for a stay. I bought a Lego set for one of my children as a birthday gift when he turned 9. That would be over 40 years ago.
What a lovely themed place. So glad you had Gaby and Casper with you. Casper seemed in his element playing with the Lego. The decor in the room was certainly, beautifully in keeping with lego and seemed to be comfortable and had everything you need for this type of stay. It’s certainly a childhood dream. It’s built to attract families with young children, so you really have to try and see it for what it is, through the eyes of a child. Caspers smile said it all when you were in the restaurant and the singing was happening.. Oh no the “frozen “ corn on the cob, shame about all the issues with your meal ! They certainly don’t seem to be on top of the quality of service and food standards that you would expect. I think You and Gaby should be advisors to them on running their food operation 😂 Summed up again really well at the end by you both. Price was very reasonable.Really Great Vlog again Tim Thank You
Ooh, I read about this new village. The pictures I saw looked incredible, can’t wait to watch your full vlog / tour later on. It would be wicked if they had a similar village but exclusively for adults based off their Lego art, icons, technic (supercars), botanical and architecture series. Could have stuff like piano lounge, library, garden, gallery, place to build/create, shop etc… The mini land in the main park is really impressive in real life. They do sell loads of their adults sets. Some of them are over £700 though lol. I bought the bonsai tree as my first adults + set. Quite fancy building either the Great Pyramid of Giza or Van Gough’s Starry Night next.
Looks like a decent family place to stay. Huge lego fan. Yes I'm guilty of spending 2-300 pounds on the model cars. Such a shame that the food was overpriced and service was slow. More awesome content Tim :)
Loving your vacation videos. Moved from England to America. Don't get to travel like this so I truly enjoy this. It's like going in vacation in my living room!❤
It's such a shame the food and the waiting around. let your little get away down 😮Especially when you pay so much & look forward to it ...The little cabin was awesome 👌 Looking forward ro your next upload guys ❤
The problem with newer restaurants they haven't grown a team. I was a waitress for 15 years i noticed when you have a dozen staff who have worked there for over 5 years the food comes out faster and the service is perfect.
Hello Tim and Gaby, what a nice place to visit, the house is ideal with the Lego theme inside.the park is brilliant especially with small town of places, and seeing vehicles move round on the road, the food was a bit of a faff to sort out and cold food.i would definitely visit here.
As a Floridian, I love Legoland in FL. They had enough for the kids and adults to enjoy. The heat is sometimes too intense and some things were looking worn down being outside. The 5:00 issue wasn’t bad because by that time you had enough and can go out to diner, etc.
Hmmm, looks like a fun place to take the kids and not too expensive considering it includes park entry. Food looked absolutely woeful, can you bring your own and cook in the accommodation? Spoiled an otherwise great stay id say! Nice one Tim!👍👏👏👏♥️
Instead of just blurring out the faces of the people around you, you should have replaced them with Lego mini figure heads. That would have been a nice touch!
You need to visit the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark. Sort of a fan exhibition and discovery center, with museum in the basement. Close to the airport and cheap to get to
Your only 7 miles from my home in Iver Buckinghamshire. My husband works in Windsor. I can remember when Legoland was Windsor safari Park. Great place to stay especially with little kiddies. Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you all as always Tracey 💕💕💕💕💕.
Similar setup to the lodges at alton towers but with a lego theme rather than a woodland one. I do hope the breakfast setup is unique to legoland and not being rolled out across other merlin hotels, the hot buffet breakfast is one of the best parts about staying at towers!!😋
The opening times are actually very standard for theme parks! My fiancé and I have annual passes to Alton Towers and it closes at 4pm out of season and 6pm in peak season
Having those router ports is an absolute godsend and is actually pretty advanced. And I wish more places would offer it. It's a direct link to the Internet if you're having issues with WiFi (which can be spotty and unreliable). It means families who need reliable Internet (for work or personal reasons) can still use it.
Its really good they have the option. I have found some of the ethernet ports in some places are filled with gum or something. Also people may bring a mini pc or console to play games on. So better internet on ethernet.
Hi Tim what a lovely genuine couple you are I've followed you for a while now and always enjoy your content and it's great to see you back here with Casper, he's getting so big and it's brilliant to follow you on your ventures. I don't normally comment... Loved this.
I’m 25 and I stopped building Legos when I was about 13, but started up again at 21. I mainly build Technic and Speed Champion Sets. They have come a long way since I was a kid.
Sorry, I was the Lincoln Logs kid with the green army men. I never had lego's. My daughters did. I used to think about having a Lincoln Logs house in the woods. The most creative place my wife and I took our two daughters was a train motel. We slept in a caboose. They had a blast. It was nice to see you taking our family on this one. As always enjoyed the review and the information.
Lodge looked lovely - clean and new. Was wondering about all of the Lego though - will it be cleaned at all/ regularly/between let’s? Think it would get quite 'germy' and grubby, particularly in the communal areas
I don’t have kids but I would definitely love to book into a Lego house! Love building Lego. It’s therapeutic to me. I especially enjoy building Lego cars. Recently just built Dom Torettos charger from the fast and furious movies. 😊
😍 amazing Legoland hotel family oriented play grown ups can enjoy! use glue to glue those Legos to construct this hotel😀 how many views all around for the location is very Lovely!!!😍 it will make impression in Casper's in his mind he'll remember this place at his age now! It's a shame that restrictions because of weather... Nice that you enjoyed your family time tons of fun!
I don't think cute little Casper would be hurt, even if he DID roll off that little trundle bed. It's so low to the floor that he probably wouldn't even wake up if he rolled off! That said, he looked like he had a great time. I doubt I'll ever go to Lego Land myself. The food and the service were sorely lacking!
The food is outsourced to almark . My son worked at legoland for 7years in the fish and chips restaurant at Lego after when almark took over a year later he left. Not a nice company to work for.
Hey tim, I’m 43 and have an amazing collection of Lego flowers/ plants. I currently have the Lego Van Gogh starry night to do… love watching your videos by the way x
Actually really glad that you didn't get to book the bigger option of accommodation. Whilst I really enjoy seeing all of the suites and fancy places that you stay, I think a balance between what most people might actually book and those is great. I've missed that on your channel in recent months. This place just looks so much fun for kids and more relaxed than the hotel.
Did You Ever Build A Lego House As A Kid And Want To Live In It? ;-)
Loved Lego. ❤️ Built stuff all the time. When I was a kid it was very affordable and you did not get kits that can be used for one purpose only, but basic buliding bricks and you had to use your imaginaiton.
No I was never very good with Lego I always found it a bit fiddly.

This looks very interesting Tim, I hope I get notification for this one 😮xx
Love lego still do and yes I wanna live I one maybe not in a natural dissaster
No. Can't say i did . Built a zoo though and put plastic animals in it lol
How cute is Tim son. I love his curls.
Why would all the walls not look like they are built with LEGO bricks? Baffles me
This is something that Disney World would have done.
@jonathanj.3695 That is something *pre-Chapek* Disney would have done. Unfortunately, we now live in the Disney era of "Basically a mid-tier Hilton but we stuck some character art on the walls and charged double Hilton prices."

That's genuinely bought a smile to my face, the look on little ones face, memories forever 😊
agree! ;-)
7:02 without Gaby’s input Tim 100% would have said 4 people and NOT 2 😂😂😂
Tim should create a spin-off channel called "Shower With Tim"
"And next week on the channel, I try out the showers in the Houses of Parliament to see how many newly elected MPs can fit in them."

@@NeonSpinnner I sleep with TV always lol

I enjoy watching "Walk With Me Tim." They make such a good couple. I think Gaby's more outgoing than Tim.
Aahhh Casper is adorable.. lovely experience
It looks like Casper is exploring around the room the way you do! Testing the pillow, offering commentary…😂
Wondering if they will have Lego carpet? That way you get to experience the joy of a stray Lego piece embedding itself into the sole of your foot every time you step into a room.
we did thanks to Casper ;-)
😂😂
😂
Though having the floor made of Lego would be too much of a liability.
Thought the same I personally thought it looked very outdated to say it’s just a few months old!
I’m guessing that’s the idea, almost like you’re meant to feel like a tiny lego man.
At least the floor isn’t made out of lego bricks, ouch 😱
Nah, it’s appealing and fine. To be fair, I don’t know the price. But it fits the vibe of a mountain lodge. It’s Lego, a high quality kids product. Not a genuine lifestyle or luxury brand. I would expect 3 to high 3/5.

Funny, I thought the same thing :)
So glad we made it in the video! I'm walking behind with Vic and baby Rowan when your going to your lodge. The second night for us was a nightmare at the restaurant.

When I was a kid, Lego where just the most basic blocks. But we have built everything with it, from homes to space ships 😄
Nope, Lego was and still is my pet hate. I still feel the pain each time I stood on them from many years ago 😂 Great looking place though ❤

The LEGO houses are really nice touch and outdoors have things made out of LEGO.
Great video, Tim.
You have the sweetest family. Enjoy! Time goes by so fast!
Yes it does! thank you so much
Can't tell you how many times as a kid, stepping on those darn things.😮
Haha yes this hurts!

Wow, credit for the folk who built all of that, what an amazing place for kids, ty for sharing Tim and Gaby🎉😊
The food is provided and served by a company called “Aramark” that are external from Merlin. They also provide food to prisons.. makes sense
Absolutely, in fact the chicken strips provided to merlin parks has the HMP stock code written on the outer packet of th3 bag

The food definitely lets it down tho
I'm pretty sure the sky ride shuts during rain because the driving wheels on the monorail cars slip and cause the cars to get stuck.

Great place for children Casper is lovelly cute he loves it 👍👍
cheeky casper at 32:45 haha
I don’t have kids but I would definitely love to book into a Lego house! Love building Lego. It’s therapeutic to me. I especially enjoy building Lego cars. Recently just built Dom Torettos charger from the fast and furious movies. 😊
I'm dying of cancer. I know I'll never get to see places like this so thank you for sharing your journeys
❤
❤❤❤
I'm sorry 😔 I hope you're feeling as well as you can at this time.
❤❤
Does the FJB on your profile stand for what i think it does? 😂😉
Really good info for a family who are looking at visiting Lego Land
Thank you
Lego land is soo cute
Great video, Im happy to see the lil boy having fun at the park! Neat cabin hotel! :)
Thank you Tim for the lovely Video 🏡
The food is outsourced to almark . My son worked at legoland for 7years in the fish and chips restaurant at Lego after when almark took over a year later he left. Not a nice company to work for.
Hey tim, I’m 43 and have an amazing collection of Lego flowers/ plants. I currently have the Lego Van Gogh starry night to do… love watching your videos by the way x
Happy to find my mum in the comments section! great minds watch alike! 💗
❤❤❤what a cute place, love seeing gabby and that adorable thumps !!!! Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m 25 and still build lego, I LOVE IT and I will continue to love it till I die probably, I find it so therapeutic ❤
