I really loved this DLC I think it was cool how they made it fun without any other characters physically there but I would have loved if you decided to sacrifice Arcadia bay Chloe, Mikey, and max visit you on the anniversary and if you sacrifice Chloe, Drew and Mikey visit you on that anniversary

I honestly want a DLC with Max, but I have a feeling that it would be a pro-Chloe route like the comics. I'd love to see a DLC of her life after sacrificing Chloe. LIS2 gives us a hint of what happened if you choose sacrifice Arcadia Bay, but nothing gets mentioned if you choose Chloe over Arcadia Bay. They could easily make a DLC where she travels alone, with Warren, or Chloe depending on your choices.
Tbh I want 2 DLCS. one where Chloe did died and how it affected max. And another one where we see how Chloe is affected of her mom's death along with leaving everything behind in the save the bay ending
If you look at Max's diary at the moment of the final decision, it is an Easter egg, you discover that Max's decision is to save Chloe... it doesn't matter the cost, that would be the canon decision, and that is why comics exist. where his story continues... those who chose to kill Chloe... well, their story ends there, but that is not Max's decision.
You do realize that your ending is four minutes longer than the other, right, and that's why in the sequel we see what became of post-storm Max and Chloe, but no information about post-Chloe Max? That's what I call justice. Bae ending deserves to get a post game conent considering this ending was four minutes shorter than the other. And Bay just ends Max and Chloe's story, unlike Bae.
I wish they would make a game that picked up where Before the Storm left off. It could show when Frank and Rachel started seeing each other, when Rachel got into the Vortex club, and other questions we might have. Also I know it would be heartbreaking, but I want to know what Steph, Mikey, and Drew’s reactions were to finding out that Rachel was killed, the Black Room articles, and Chloe being shot. Also Steph went to Seattle after that, maybe she met Max and they could have dated or been friends? Idk just thinking out loud lol

Given all the backstory chloe is getting, and possibly more if the series keeps on going, i find it hard to believe she acts like a loner in the first game as if she had no other friends other than rachel, which at this point we know was not the case
It could be that after Rachel disappeared Chloe isolated herself. She had already felt like the world was against her before, and losing Rach would have been really traumatic. While she had other friends, her closest was Rach, so after she disappeared, Chloe felt abandoned and angry. The world kept taking away the people closest to her, so even though she had had friends before the incident, she probably withdrew from those people.
Don't Steph and Mikey move away before the first life is strange? Rachel died, she had a bad experience with Elliot and stopped being friendly with him and steph and mikey leave. Also like another commenter said she probably isolated after the person who taught her she could get close to people disappeared

I hope there’s a twist. I beg Rachel returns and it can end on a happy note. Even the thought of her being dead made me feel sick. I’m hugely attached to feelings and this is the first game series I’ve got emotional with. Surely we need a twist and surely everyone wants Rachel to remain alive. To end the series on the best positive level is what the world needs, positive endings can really boost the mood. After the ending to Life is strange 1. Feel utterly depressed

Okay but to be honest, sacrificing Chloe is the better ending. It lasts longer, it's more of a satisfying bookend to their journey, it makes more sense, it's heartbreaking but so should most conflicts end. In Life is Strange 2 they gave us the option to pick what happened to Arcadia Bay before we saw it in Episode 1, which doesn't happen in True Colors. Idk seems weird to me to make this "canon". Then again, the comics exist. I haven't read those so maybe it has something to do with that, Idk. Oh turns out they do give you the choice of saving arcadia bay or not before you start wavelengths

They didn't care about Warren or Joyce or Kate if you saved her. Now that it's a character they've grown to love mom they all of sudden feel bad. Most of their moments just came from the memory of what their friendship used to be like. Max literally abandoned Chloe for 5 years and never answered her texts or calls. Chloe still had resentment of Max for leaving her and pretty much guilt tripped her into doing everything ,and if she didn't do exactly what she wanted she would take it personally and get pissed. I still love Max and Chloe but separately. I feel like them growing apart was just a normal part of growing up. People have following outs and it doesn't have to be for a specific reason. Given all the backstory chloe is getting, and possibly more if the series keeps on going, i find it hard to believe she acts like a loner in the first game as if she had no other friends other than rachel, which at this point we know was not the case

It could be that after Rachel disappeared Chloe isolated herself. She had already felt like the world was against her before, and losing Rach would have been really traumatic. While she had other friends, her closest was Rach, so after she disappeared, Chloe felt abandoned and angry. The world kept taking away the people closest to her, so even though she had had friends before the incident, she probably withdrew from those people.
Don't Steph and Mikey move away before the first life is strange? Rachel died, she had a bad experience with Elliot and stopped being friendly with him and steph and mikey leave. Also like another commenter said she probably isolated after the person who taught her she could get close to people disappeared

I hope there’s a twist. I beg Rachel returns and it can end on a happy note. Even the thought of her being dead made me feel sick. I’m hugely attached to feelings and this is the first game series I’ve got emotional with. Surely we need a twist and surely everyone wants Rachel to remain alive. To end the series on the best positive level is what the world needs, positive endings can really boost the mood. After the ending to Life is strange 1. Feel utterly depressed

Okay but to be honest, sacrificing Chloe is the better ending. It lasts longer, it's more of a satisfying bookend to their journey, it makes more sense, it's heartbreaking but so should most conflicts end. In Life is Strange 2 they gave us the option to pick what happened to Arcadia Bay before we saw it in Episode 1, which doesn't happen in True Colors. Idk seems weird to me to make this "canon". Then again, the comics exist. I haven't read those so maybe it has something to do with that, Idk. Oh turns out they do give you the choice of saving arcadia bay or not before you start wavelengths

@@CardinalSinner Exactly, it's low-key sickening to know that so many people sacrificed Arcadia Bay not caring about the hundreds of people who died. They didn't care about Warren or Joyce or Kate if you saved her. Now that it's a character they've grown to love mom they all of sudden feel bad. It's kinda disgusting how selfish the people who chose that option are. Unpopular opinion but Chloe and Max weren't a healthy option as a couple or even friends really. Most of their moments just came from the memory of what their friendship used to be like. Max literally abandoned Chloe for 5 years and never answered her texts or calls. If I'm remembering correctly she never even gave a reason as to why she abandoned her. Chloe still had resentment of Max for leaving her and pretty much guilt tripped her into doing everything ,and if she didn't do exactly what she wanted she would take it personally and get pissed. I still love Max and Chloe but separately. I feel like them growing apart was just a normal part of growing up. People have following outs and it doesn't have to be for a specific reason. We could see how different Max and Chloe were, they just grew to want different things. Idc what anyone says sacrificing Chloe is cannon in my mind. It felt like an actual ending and gave true closure to their friendship.
Agreed. I was kinda baffled to see Chloe's ending on youtube (I sacrificed her for the Arcadia in my own game) and then just see how... short it was, compared to the more proper Arcadia ending. It felt 'right'.
