That gun was a wn8 machine. I remember doing 3 shots of damage and I had like 2000 wn8. The tier 5 was absolute paper, so you would blow up in seconds after being detected but the insane penetration could butcher even tier 8 tanks.
Still is pretty fun to use though. I've found it enjoyable to frustrate players that find the armor bouncy. Fun after game chats have been had in the terrible tub.
It's amazing seeing two friends like you guys having so much fun playing this game. Me and my buddy used to have a lot of fun playing it but over the years the game got so much worse that it became a constant stream of screaming our hatred at each other. So we quit WoT and just play fun games again.

I'll give you my point of view (it was when I was a beginner tho, so take this in count). Tier IV : Somua Sau 40 : Yeah, bad tank, bad gun, bad mobility, bad armor, bad camo, there's nothing to save on this tank, I also hated it. Tier V : S35 CA : One of my favourite tank in the whole game, years ago it has the strong 105mm gun that was really fun to play. Well even if WG removed it, I still like the S35 CA, the last games I did with it one month ago were great and with a friend we made a great carry + win, anyway I love the 90mm gun so I still play with it. A friend of me (in the past, I didn't had news about him in a while) learned me about this tank's nickname, the bathtub, in french, La Baignoire, this makes me laughs so much, I think you know him, it's fcmf1ishere, is he fine? Tier X : Foch (155) : As you said Edvin, at that time, the tier X was the Foch (155), it was also my first tier X tank and still today, I really like this tank, long reload, but great gun, 293mm pen, 750 dmg, 3 shells in the autoloader, I really like this tank even if I hate the tier X games. Tier X : Foch B : I loved the AC 48, the Foch and the Foch (155), I hated the Foch B, without premium ammunition this tank is really annoying to play especially with the new meta as you said at the end of the video, I really prefer the Foch (155) and I was never agree with people saying that this was a french WT auf E 100, with 257mm pen in tier X, it was painful to play (I don't play with premium ammunition). Bonus : Tier II : FT AC : funny autoloader, but nothing more, well tbh I don't have many memories of this tank. Tier III : Renault UE 57 : funny tank, great gun, fast reload, good dmgs and great camo. Really funny to play and also, very cute tank. Also, I never played the AC 48 and the Foch since their new autoloader gun, maybe one day I'll try again, this would bring me nostalgia lmao.

I always love when players repair their tracks after getting their first hit from a Foch B, like that will stop them from getting permatracked after the second shot :D

IMO The AMX AC-48 is one of the best tier 8 tech tree tanks. Great burst damage. Great gun for the tier - pens everything. Decent mobility. Even the armour sort of works.
The S35 CA had a very disgusting gun until not too long ago, a 105mm gun with insane penetration and 330 alpha iirc. It was very strong but the platform was bad as hell. Now the platform remains bad but the gun was removed. This whole tech tree isn't the best but in the past the Foch 155 was a monster that could run at almost 60 km/h with great power engine. The low penetration is a pain so I'm not surprised when I see players loading full gold.
Holy crap two repair kits? I haven't seen someone with two repair kits since the patch that enabled reloading repair kits. Dang. I used to run two on my T110E4 but that was a LOOOOONG time ago.

SAu 40 has the highest shell velocity of any derp gun at that tier. It has faster HE shells than some other tanks' AP shells. For comparison, Hetzer's derp is 470 m/s, Valentine AT's is 243 m/s, whereas SAu 40 has 670 m/s for whatever it's worth...

Interesting, I had a really different experience. (although yes, this line is not good) Tier 4 is a Hetzer, just without the armor. So it's lacking the biggest feature, but HEAT can work if you are sneaky Tier 5. Always used the bigger gun, 135 pen is enough. (or you can load the gold and 175 should go through most tier 7s. O-Ni is a problem, but since I snipe most of the time, I prefer the bigger alpha) Tier 6 - epic sniper, pay to win but that's just WoT nowadays. Tier 7 - pathetic. I use the 300 gun but neither feels good. Tier 8 - I remember grinding it back when it did not have the autoloader. It used to be good with the single shot gun. Now, the single shotter is lacking and the autoloader only has 3 shells and long intraclip... worst imo. Tier 9 - perfect balance. Has the same reload time as the tier 8 but better intraclip, 1.6k clip potential and much better frontal armor. (and it's tier 9 so good mm) Tier 10 - everyone is shooting gold so your armor does not matter. It's practically the tier 9 since you can rarely use the full clip. Foch 155 - haha. Load HEAT and stack the gunhandling equipment. Same as the Foch B, don't expect to bounce anything, just go in, trade against the E100s, you take 750 they take 2k, retreat, chill for 40 seconds and repeat.
Tier 8 to 10 are painful cause of massive easy to hit and pen weakpoints would have been better if it was just the machine gun and not that bar to the left
There are plenty of great choices to get into, but I think that the japanese heavy tanks should go first. Not because they're overpowered, but because you make vehicles like these work pretty well. The frech TD's are a great example of that, as well as american autoloders HT. So please try this at sone point... ❤

The S35 CA used to have a 105mm gun. The same one on the ARL V39. It was so fun back in the day to rush to the frontline and brawl, doing easy 1k dmg

I used to play WOT and war thunder but WOT was going so fast downhill i just stopped playing it and went full war thunder.
The tier 5 was once called the bathtub of doom for a reason, it was so much fun to have a pay to win gun with 320 alpha on tier 5 with apcr
