Great video! I absolutely agree that these tanks are genuine pain to play alone, but when you have a friend to hang around with and support, it will become fun. I also agree that if they'd switch the lane from Heavy to Medium, it'd very much help them become more desirable to research and see in battles, rather than what it is now ("OMG we have AMX-50B?!?! Thats GG we're going to lose...").
Pro players in a 50b are the worst to face, the 50 has so much carry potential and an insane skill ceiling. Big reason it’s used in some comps and pretty popular in onslaught

It's has s conq levels of gun handling while also carrying a 1600 clip. The 57 heavy doesn't have armor either, and doesnt have the gun handling or mobility to be as consistent, but it's used on some close quarter maps where the mobility isn't as important and the dpm and intra clip are much more important

Most players dont know that the 50b actually has hull armor, you can troll them so hard by exposing the front of the hull in a way the pike nose is angled without the weak side showing. Also it can catch a few bad shots so its more forgiving than the smaller tanks on the line
Back then, when there were still international battles, the French always lost. They had a good burst of DMG, but as soon as their magazines were out they were overrun... 😅
Lmao that was ages ago That said if they do that once again it might be much more fun since French have an actual armored lines now (also applies to all countries, every countries have much more diversity in tanks and are not one trick ponies anymore). Maybe as a fun mode?
I actually played it solo and liked it. Its a support tank which means its a second line tank. its not meant to be up front to take the brunt of the damage. The two gimmicks the 3 tanks have are: The tank is very accurate from mid to long ranges and their burst potential is through the roof. My first T10 autoloader was the T-57 Heavy. I grinded the American autoloading line in the exact same manner as the french line. however, American autoloader > French. They reload faster and dish out damage faster.
the problem with 50B is that your matched up against heavy tanks ,the enemy heavy tanks will smash your team fast ,becoz you cant counter them ,and then while the enemy still have a team will kill everyone
Thing is about these, is that irl the French classified the AMX 50 series as heavies themselves, AMX 30 series as medium or MBTs, and the AMX 13 series as light recon tanks

Still love the Mega Man X music in your videos. Awesome. 50B is also an awesome tank in certain clan wars maps because a pair of them is usually just disgusting against distracted opponents. They also have greater survivability on a city map like Himmelsdorf than a bat-chat. Love my 50B. Beast tank.
Nicegames guys. I agree with you, i grinded the line solo aswell, and i despise it a lot. amx60b has my wort winrate amongs heavius. But t57 or krang, man those tanks shines, with or without a platoon.
Back in 2015 when I grinded this line, the stock gun with normal ammo was actually a viable option in T9 games. You had to be cheeky but it worked. Nowadays you need to spam gold even im tier 8, let alone T9
50B has very troll hull, it can boucne a lot more than you could expect. The turret is the weakness, not the hull like with the vast majority of the tanks, it has like 270mm of EA in the hull frontally.Looks like japanese superheavies might be next although the american heavy line, the T110E5 line, sounds good too.

The 50B is such a troll tank, people in WoT are so drilled into firing the lower plate that the 50b gets away with having negative armour because it has all the actual armour on the lower plate and the gun mantlet, the gun Mantlet is pretty much impenetrable. But ye, French tanks are mostly terrible, but they are fun, even the M4 54 before the buffs was a super fun tank, I also didn't agree with the buffs, it didn't need them, all it needed was more reliable armour. Heavy autoloader line needs a role change, Reduce the dmg, buff intraclip, reload and accuracy and have them sit a bit back, it would push them in the same role as a Leopard 1, Progetto.

They should buff the intraclip to 2.5 sec on both the T8 and T9 and buff the topspeed on the 50 100 so it's just as fast as the 50 120 and 50B

These tanks absolutely brutalize TVPs and Spagettios thanks to trollish armor and huge HP pools. Giving it medium MM would be nuts without nerfs

The AMX50b is not my tank with my top damage but in my heart it is, dealing 8.7k damage in the 50b feels sooo good
French autoloaders. You get four shots. You fire all four shots. One bounces, once misses, one does damage and one does zero damage.
