@@tzuyology oh calm, my avg was 8.0 across top 8 and i got a 9 in gcse maths. the only thing is i got a 5 in eng lang and lse specifically require a 6 in maths and eng lang. we both in the same boat ig, my advice for you would be to guarantee an A star in ur maths a level (provided u are doing it ofc, dont know many lse courses where u dont need it) because of ur 5 in gcse maths u gotta show that u can do maths

Depends on course. Some courses are high a levels but not excessively high and not over competitve. Obviously economics and finance BSc are both highly competitve. Economics and maths or Economics and history etc are slightly easier to get in. I knew that guy with the dreds was going to get lower grades with a contextual offer - just way he spoke. Black guy with glasses just gave out high intellect. Less competitive and contextual (race, low socio economics) courses will need ABB to AAB. Most competitive will be A*A*A to 4A*.
I disagree with the idea that how someone speaks is an indicator of their intelligence. Speech patterns are shaped by various factors like culture or confidence, and don’t reflect a person's academic potential. Many of the Black students in this video, for instance, achieved straight A’s at both A-level and GCSE. On the flip side, I’ve met students who speak very posh and use big words but achieve low grades and often don’t say much of substance. We should challenge stereotypes and recognise the value people bring beyond the way they express themselves.

The girl from Scotland clearly had a more affluent upbringing and the one who had the contextual offer, even stated he wanted to escape the environment. You are the product of the 5 people you surround yourself with. Agree that if someone speaks in an upper class accent does do not automatically imply what intelligence level they are. LSE and other top Russell group universities should be a place to better themself so I wish them all success and enhanced self improvement as future role models for future generations.

did you get any 9s? what was ur eng lang? and ur avg over top 8 subjects? depending on these you MAY have a shot.
@theion161 I'm getting english literature remarked so I could end up with a 9 there, language I got a 7 and my average for the top 8 is a 7.1
