I think I saw your clip and I think this where the core idea came from! I was already heavily playing protect 2 in V, and I LOVED the idea of Kiriel being this cross between a protect 2 deck and rescue Gavrail. It was only recently that I realized the stand triggers could extend the attacks during the battle phase, in the same way we use Ammunition Angel, that elevated the deck. And Zakfiel can set up both plays in one turn. Thank you for the compliment, it’s an honor! I’ve been play testing this deck frequently and it works competitively and consistently. It’s strong against Nightmare dolls and Steam Maidens. Narukami is a tough match up, and against aqua force, we have to fight to stop them from using Valios, which just negates our defensive options. But again thank you ❤️
I am loving this whole build. it takes what we can do in premium, adds in the pure power toolbox we have in V, and makes sure to utilize the denial G combo we have at the same time. if there is any tech I'd suggest, it's from keter, but salire requires 3 grade 3s in hand to top stack a grade 3 from the drop, and you are running minimum numbers. ( the idea being is hard stacking a heal guard to promise the heal.)
Hey sorry I went MIA, but I would say it was just super dependent on the match up but I did enjoy protect 2 way more, it felt really fun, that being said history collection changes everything!
