Synopsis:
Filmmaker Shane Hawks (Saving Winston) tells the moving story of Alex, a teenage bully who spends her time lashing out at classmates and making their lives as miserable as she possibly can. Only when Alex has a chance encounter at a local summer camp, does she finally receive the wake-up call she so desperately needs. But will it be enough to truly turn her life around or will she just return to her bullying ways once camp is over?
With lush scenic beauty and a soundtrack full of uplifting songs of worship, Camp Harlow is a touching story of redemption and hope. A faith-based drama and a gentle reminder that there is no soul beyond the saving reach of God's love.

This film was *great* - the main girl was an excellent Actress, and the story made me cry - *very* good ending!!! And this is a *real Camp* !!
My teenage sons and many teenagers feom my church had their lives changed by a Christian camp. This movie looks like it captures the true Spirit of Camp Harlow. May God bless you guys for making such awesome Christian movies!

Has anyone else been to to Camp Harlow? Yes, there really is a camp harlow, and that's not a set! I've been going there since I was five and its alot like they show it in the movie. I also love how large they make it seem by not showing all of camp. Anyway, Christians should really go there it is so worth it!

I got to meet Shane HawksThe director today. True story. What an amazing person. Can't wait to watch this movie. Also would love to see some of Shane's other work which include" Saving Winston" And " Lucky's Treasure".
Soooo this is a story of a young Girl who has no faith, bully's People yet have a certain kindness towards Animals a Singing voice which result her to see the path of the light in being a Christain???? Oh give me a break, I can see why this gone to DVD instead of the Cinema. There are so many things wrong with this Storyline that I can't even listed all here The story had a good being that she found a nice guy but then fell apart afterwards.

it went straight to dvd because it was a low budget film. its common for bully's to be sensitive to animals and children. bc their 'innocent.' and she can sing? lets see you come up with a better story line.
haley murphy Sensitive to Animals and Children.........right........sure if that's the case all Bullies has this and yet sing like Angels. Talk about a fantasy Storyline. Sorry Haley real bullies have problems in the mind and have no compassion toward other Peoiple and Animals. If that's wasn't the case how you explain all those idoits who abuse Animals? This is simply a fantasy storyline that even Disney will not approve of.

I saw this movie on netflix and at first i thought it was disney channel film of a popular girl but then my mom said it was a christian movie and it was inspiring,and i thougt it was a set and it is a real camp so my my mom was planning on sending to that camp this summer and i am excited plus its in Oregon and we live in Washington. Btw we are Christian
you should go. I used to work there when I was 12-16, then again at 19. I was a camper every summer there from when I was 5 until I was 16. I think if your a christian you would enjoy it. I did when I was younger
