- "Touched by Grace" is an anti-bullying family drama about a group of popular high school students who wage a fake campaign to elect a girl with Down Syndrome as the school’s Homecoming Queen -- as a senior prank. It is inspired by real bullying events that the teenagers in our community have witnessed happening in their local high schools.

I’m a single mother to my beautiful autistic toddler. I am fearful of this reality of hateful people. I’ve been mom shamed several times, just because people don’t understand autism or just different people in general. This is an informative movie for people who don’t understand special needs. Grace was an amazing name for her because she continuously gave others grace.
i am a grandmother to a non verbal autistic child and i also have the same concerns you do about her future and bulling. I was bullied as a child and as a teen, so I know how cruel children and teenagers can be. Every day I pray healing for her as with God all things are possible.

Great Story. I grew up with a down syndrome brother. He taught me love and forgiveness. He was always quick to forgive.
My little sister had Down Syndrome. She went home to Heaven at the age of 16. We were very close. I miss her still. She trusted The Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour when she went to Sunday School with me one Sunday. I know she is with The Lord. I can't wait to see her when I get there.

I love how everyone repented at the end. Forgiveness is so powerful. I love the girl who played Grace and the boy played Grace's date.
I had a similar experience like Grace had. A couple of the years that I was in high school, I was put on the homecoming ballot as a joke. trauma like that sticks with you for a long time. Grace is the epitome of forgiveness. No matter how bad somebody had hurt her, she still showed love.

Bully’s are everywhere unfortunately and I think most people are bullied some in their life , I know I certainly was and there’s no excuse for it ever ! Medical stuff aside.... I think the world is wrong about these beautiful people. How they love and cherish everyone is exactly what God calls us all to do. In my eyes, I think they act better then anyone "normal"... That kindness and Love is almost on God's level.
I wish the world could see the beauty that warms my heart just by being around these amazing people.
I used to go to Teen Life Conventions (that were close enough to drive to). There was a girl there one time, who survived an abortion. She actually did get up and not only sang "Stand by Me" but she played a keyboard at the same time. It was amazing, her voice brought tears to my eyes.
May God help me and all to love others just like Grace.
I am a single parent/mother with an autistic child and i am often sad because people always treat us so different and it is very painful to me when you see people talking about my child who is very innocent...,
We are all diffrent on the outside it's how God intended it to be so we could all overcome or learn to overcome the difference that we are all the same inside. Some are still learning patients. Sending love, prayer, your way. As long as your child knows your love that having self belief and strenghth you can overcome anything. ❤️❤️❤️

At first I liked the movie but when they pranked grace and she ended up in the hospital that broke my heart ♥️

I saw you on top of my house ....
ill tell you my story, when i was in school there was a guy that had cerebral palsy, the people where so cruel to him i had to jump in, i got into pyhisical fights over it but i didnt care, in time when i was on the shool bus i saw him go from telephone pole to pole to get his wind, after i got my drivers liceenc i got enough trust in him i could take him home , i bought him a race track and we we raced cars etc, i lost track of him in time but i changed his life, and i worked at a rehab place for the handicap for 26 plus years after that, im 61 now and all the years of helping them have taken a tollon me im 92 lbs and cant work anymore but it was rewarding life so now i just follow jesus ! great movie , whis i could make one of my own after everything i seen and done ! god bless
This movie reminds me of my childhood, 8 years of being pretty much alone even tho I don't have any disabilities, but being isolated made me really sad and had depression later on, and how God used my experience to help the weak even the mean ones, true forgiveness really have the power through Christ, and i thank God that I can understand and deeply feel how ppl feel when they are laughed/ disliked by the "world "they living.

We all have disabilities in one way or another...awkweirdness, shyness, self-image problems, other syndromes that are not as visible as other 'disabilities'. Gentleness and kindness go a long way to make everyone feel loved.

Bullying is so heartbreaking. This movie was so touching and emotional. I pray it causes at least one person to think twice before being mean to another.
God made us all unique and for specific reasons. Everyone on our path in life teaches us something, whether it be good or bad it's up to us to be open to learning.

My son has Downs syndrome . He is the youngest of 4 and very adored. I'm a Christian ✝️ and mid covid it was found Cal needed life saving open heart surgery for a heart aneurysm. ❤ Hes fine thankyou God ☺ and you no what I don't give a toss about the small stuff anymore. I got my boy back healthy.

Down syndrome is the terminology that is no longer permitted or use in the states. It is supposed to be on the spectrum or ASL, which basically means autistic and for those that do not know that over 300 types of autism.
How our stupid ignorance can cost us n how people like Grace have a gift of love, I shed tears
I have a niece who has down syndrome and she is sooo special to us. Truly a beautiful princess to us. We love her and God loves her. 💘
I was praying for someone who cannot get allow to well. I kelp praying that she see the holy spirit. Well she almost to the turn
She spotted a whole tree top covered completely covered the the tree top full white doves. She did know that was the holy spirit. But friends and where talking about that was a sign. From that day until know she didn't know that it was holy spirit. But us van believed it was a sign. So GOD answered my prayer. I an working with my spirituality free will spirit.
I live with sister daughter that is handi cap. To me I really believed that GOD made different ki D's of humanity. You never along we have angles.

I am a special need I have down syndrome I get emotional watching this movie touched by grace I love her I was so touched by her she is very beautiful butterfly princess she is I don't like how she was bullied I cried more hard she is a beautiful butterfly princess I just love her so much ❤️
I think this movie depicted Cara in a way that alot of people are in her position. Trying to fit in with cool kids at the same time also trying to be nice. They really forshadowed that in the beginning with cara and her old friends and how she partakes in the bullying helping them out but "her friends" didn't care about her when she left. It happens again with her new school but unfortunately a life was taken in this repeated process. And ironically the kids trashed cara's house like how cara and her old friends trashed the house of the victim in the beginning. What goes around comes around.
The important lesson I got from this is simply doing the right thing and not let peer pressure get to you. it's alot easier said than done but I think people would feel alot better about themselves vice giving in to the wrong things

Sometimes it takes a touch of reality to put things into perspective. God loves and accepts us for who we are; it appears to be us who struggle with that concept. If only we saw the world through Grace's eyes..... An excellent movie to bring us that one step closer :)

This movie is supposed to be for young people, but I'm in my 60's and I loved it even though it turned out to be a tear-jerker. Amber House, who played Grace Young, is a talented, beautiful actress. I was surprised that this was her only movie.

WOW, is about the best superlative I can think of!!! I have a dear friend who lost a dear daughter who had Downs. She was about 50 and she WAS special. Now, all I need to do is to get in touch with her dad to tell him about this amazing movie!!!
I'm 32 and have I fragile x syndrome form of autism and I have a learning disability from it I also get emotional easy as well I also attend a day program and I have friends who are just like Grace in this movie I don't see people for being different weather they have a disability or not as long as they are caring and kind I'll be there friend I also hate the re*ard word I have been called that many times

I absolutely loved this film, if only everyone could see the world thru grace’s eyes! I used to work and look after people with down syndrome, and I always wanted to have a child with the condition too, the way they see life and the amount of love they have in their hearts, we see life and stress and worry about stupid things, we get upset and argue with others BUT people who have this disability are so loving, pure and see life full of colour and compassion as well as full of happiness, God only gives children with disabilities to special parents, it makes me sad that although it was only a film that there are so many judgemental people out there who are so sad and unsatisfied in their own lives that they have to be nasty and ugly to others because they see them as different, BUT God made us all different for a reason, he gave us compassion to use it, some people say “manners don’t cost anything” well neither does compassion or love, USE IT! I have been meditating on 1 Corinthians 1:27 today , and then it's shows up again while I was watching this movie this evening. I cried so much because I am yet to understand what message God is trying to pass to me and am always an empath or maybe is for my friends who thinkam too nice and they sometimes call me names . It was a touching story I cried 😢 for Grace. God indeed chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise and the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
In the bible God always called people who others didn't expect they would be called just to shame them and show them that we are all His no one is above the other. Have a blessed evening, everyone.

People that harass and tease, taunt others/ are extremely insecure individuals!!!! They obviously haven’t got ANYTHING in their lives: except misery. Their self worth doesn’t exist; they need intense therapy. ANYONE that goes to great lengths to make someone miserable, clearly feels miserable themselves …………. I had a person in my life like that: that person is now a thing of the past. We can pray for them.

This movie was so beautiful. This movie is a must-see to bring illumination to looking at the people of God through the eyes of Him and not through our own. It was a beautiful movie and such a beautiful name just AMAZING to even see young teenager never mind the disAbilities part but a young teen to share their testimony with their peers.

I didn't enjoy most of this movie until it became dark and sad. Then it became very moving and I shed some tears. I never expected her to die.

I think it just comes off as a B movie with all the acting being so bad except grace.
what a beautiful movie she showed that no matter what u look like your still r beautiful in gods eyes grace has a beautiful soul inside and out she has no hate and people could really lean from what she could show how wonderful the world should be no hate just peace and love and a real meaning what friend can be. love in god's eyes she was a grace of God showing the true meaning of faith, if everybody could be a nice person it would be a better world.

This movie really administered to me how serious bullying is. Sadly, it was based on real bullying events. I highly recommend this movie for teenagers to watch. I also watched this movie because Ben Davies is one of my favorite actors. He played in Courageous as a cop. He's a great actor!

And maybe , just maybe , by being kind to someone else , you can help cause a change in their life .

I have always thought, that my heart had hardened to the point where I couldn't feel sad anymore, BUT THIS MOVIE HIT HOME, ..when I was small I've been made fun of, ..in hige school, I wanted others who was different from me, to hurt like I did, ..I turned into the person who made fun of others , ..in my 30's I grew up, I felt really bad, and tried to search for the people who I hurt ,I found out two of them committed suicide, ...and now in my mid 40's , my son is being made fun of, because of his speech, and I can't help but cry, because the once I have hurt , went to their mom's crying, and their mom's trying take their sadness away with hugs, telling them they are sorry, telling their kids that kids who hurt others, actually feel very hurt inside , THANK YOU FOR THIS MOVIE
