I remember the night this premiered. It was the start of the Gulf War. I was 13. MTV played it for 12 hours straight, I think.
Robert Baldwin I remember that night as well...my then-boyfriend and I were just getting home from the store when we heard the news on the radio that Desert Storm started...I remember we were looking at each other, thinking “Oh shit...” Sure felt like a spooky night...and I remember this song comforting me when it was on...I was 22 years old.

yes this came out in January 1991 at the start of the Gulf War. It's still pretty much the meaning of life. Give Peace a Chance. All you need is love. Love is very short and no time for all this petty war, hate and violence. We are all neighbors on this tiny blue dot. BE excellent to each other.
