Probably because the guard knows a horses bite force is stronger than a Rottweiler's. If it intends on doing damage, it will take half your child's face off. So if you go to a foreign country on holiday, you know all of the languages? That’s a massive ask for those who do not even share the same alphabet. I’m moving to Spain in two weeks. The nuances, differences between words used in different settings etc are hard when you are older like myself. I have been to Morocco multiple times. No way could I ever learn their language. OMG, I get so angry with these people touching the horses. I personally think they should be behind a barrier so they cannot be touched. You'd never be sure they wouldn't have something on their hands to distress the horse...😢

this guard it absolute favourite! he dont play about his horses and actually does what he's suppose to do
The disrespect shown to the Guard, the horse and his own childs safety is bewildering.
The horse was getting annoyed and started to lift its front leg
I often wonder what the guards think of it all. Do they get pissed off with the hundreds of tourists mauling their horses .Do they wish they were someplace else rather than being gawped at by people?
That horse is so patient ❤
Well done Trooper, some parents should never have been allowed to breed
Can’t bear how people abuse this situation 💔
They shouldn't be touching the horse.Well done to the Guard.
Stop! She’s frightened, well done ,
My partner and I have horses and it's shocking how some people behave around them! They're big, strong and daunting creatures, which should be respected and not disturbed whilst 'working'. If I were a Horse Guard, I'd be swinging my sword at every idiot who pulled on their reigns or deliberately stressed them out!
It's sad to see there's still kids that have never seen a horse in real life and "parents" who don't know how to hold their children to experience the pleasure. Books can show things in life, but real life is completely different, and his actions will stay in those kids mind for many years to come...
It's also sad to see grown adults act like they've never seen a horse before!
I am guessing that the parents have never seen a up close horse they are seeing it for the first time 😮
@@story_Tailer yes very possible
Ils ont une fameuse patience ces gardes royaux, tout mon respect à eux! Je n' arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi systématiquement, les touristes se permettent de toucher le cheval.
That family was incredibly annoying and they overstepped with both of the horses and guards! What is wrong with people❓
Oh the patience the Guards must have . The poor horses getting poked at the entire time they are on guard .
It’s time they are cordoned off from the public !!
I agree! It is absolute insanity that they don't have a controlled area, where there's a barrier, and people have to get in line to get a picture with the horse, with staff directing them.
He's the same guard who had a to-do with that Del-Boy looking character that threatened to punch the horse, isn't he?
Yes. That guy should be banned from the area for life!
What a relief the Guard told that man off from placing a fighting child near his mount. They were over crowding the horse.
The horse is clearly stressed. Ears back, stamping.
OMG, I get so angry with these people touching the horses. I personally think they should be behind a barrier so they cannot be touched. You'd never be sure they wouldn't have something on their hands to distress the horse...😢
Poor horse, beautiful to see such patience from both Horse and Guard
These people are absolutely disgrace the way they keep worrying the horses😮
That horse is NOT happy having all those people around it’s head. The ears are going back, throwing it’s head, etc. Stressed out.
That father had done the same thing at the other horse with the child😠😠thankfully the Gaurd put a stop to it@
I will never understand why people are so stupid 😢
I’ve given up on that thought too😊
They have been stupid since the beginning of time.
This is a perfect example of why there needs to be some kind of barrier to keep tourists away from the Guards a d their horse. Tourists must check their common sense at home, thankfully the Guard demonstrated his.
I agree! It is absolute insanity that they don't have a controlled area, where there's a barrier, and people have to get in line to get a picture with the horse, with staff directing them.
some people dont have commen sense, think like they can do anything they want.
Why aren't we stopping this from happening, more security is needed to protect this guards position, who ever is in charge needs to change the rules.
People should not be allowed so close to the guards there should be a barrier or even touch the horse. 😱
Well done guard 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There's a soldier with his sward drawn and sitting on a war horse; let's try to annoy them - brilliant.
There's two of my favorite guards, I didn't spot them right away, they have changed from long coat to armored vest uniform!
I don’t care if they’re tourists or not. They need to respect animals when they are working and even when they are not, this was absolutely uncalled for and so unruly.
It’s absolutely ridiculous all the people around these precious horses . Only so many should be aloud around the horses at at a time . Theses soldiers are so brave to put up with all this .
I agree! There should be someone in charge of the tourists- setting up a line for pictures, without letting them too close, and informing them of what they should absolutely NOT be doing when near the horse! The chaos and constant grabbing at the horse, the guard, the reins, etc., that I've seen in these videos is beyond ridiculous and extremely dangerous!
It’s very simple, paint a line where you don’t want people to cross, put up a sign saying “do not cross the line” sorted
@1:59 - note how the horse’s body language changes, from “I can handle this” to “You better leave me alone”
