sadly at the time, a lot of the fan base didnt like the film. IMO, it wasn't that bad. Really liked the covenant weapons shot in the show.

+Joseph Baker those are either rubies (shit piece of thin plastic) or fan made, both, no where near as top quality unless it was casted in resin..but still wont be near as strong as their fiber glass ones. and the rubies one, FYI is inaccurate, wrong colour, wrong shape

I love this suit so much, I just dislike the chest piece being one piece rather than having the split between the pec plates
I like how the new Halo 6 armor takes a lot of inspiration from this armor with the 117 on the chest and the shoulder pieces. It's awesome!

Perfect choice for The Chief, been a huge fan of Daniel since his portrayal of Colossus in the X-Men franchise.
So instead of using this design, PM+ decided to do something shitty. Cool, got it.
The one thing with most master chief/Spartan suits is the undersuit, the armor has circuits running through it and that is partly what makes the Spartans run faster and punch harder and all that

The Master Chief was a child when the Spartan II programme started. He was winning a game of King of the Hill when he was selected, because he was so strong and agile. But he was chosen because he was lucky as well.

"Arrival". It's track 13 off the Halo 4 Soundtrack, and the part you're hearing starts around 2:20 and again at 3:46. Definately one of my favourites on the new soundtrack!!
Once u put it on it automatically turns u into total freakin badass mode.
Sculpting is AMAZING, but it could have used a little more paint, different colours to make it battle damaged or different details along the chest legs and helmet. but over all, it is well done.

Get Icelandic Strongman Hafthor Bjornson to play chief. Hes 6'9" and weighs 400lb+ And he plays the Mountain on Game of Thrones. Make.a suit that looks metallic/ceramic etc to Thors dimensions. Epicness.
Actually Master Chief is 7,2 and with his armor on he weighs 900 stone

According to the books, he is 6'9 and in the suit he is 7'2 and the suits weigh 2 tons

The Spartan II program started in 2525, John 117 was born in 2510 so he was 15 when it started. Judging by the cadets reactions to the encrypted footage in Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn(Part 3) when they see a Spartan for the first time, the Spartans are still very new to the battlefield. So, give or take, it would be reasonable to assume that the Chief would be under 20 years of age when he appears during the Forward Unto Dawn series. Maybe someone on here can elaborate or correct my assumptions.

You know...think about it. If an average sized man like the actor in Forward Unto Dawn and this technician wore this suit and still looked formidably TALL for a human, think about how tall the Spartan IIs looked at 7-8 feet tall minimum and wearing the suit....Wouldn't they be about 2 feet taller than indicated in the manuscripts and books than are stated they are WITH the suits? We're talking a 10 to 12 foot tall super soldiers.

Chief's MK.VII Armour is based off of his armour in Forward Unto Dawn, that's why it looks so similar.

What I mean by that is that John was born 2510 and the Spartan II program started in 2525, so he was fifteen when Halsey stepped up the Spartan program.
The helmet kinda looks like its "resting" on the guys head opposed to his head going completely inside it. You can kind-of see his chin underneath the helmet.

Interesting to look into 343's HQ (BTW GOOGLE maps allows you to look inside using 3D street view)
And you see this costume, and notice that the code piece is actually molded into the undersuit; thus being made out of rubber. A great way to get around the discomforting hard plastic issue.
The original voice of master chief makes the character what it is and that was missing on the video series.
Master Chief takes down a lot of stuff that is technically stronger than him. Master Chief's big things are two things; his determination and having luck on his side.
It's called Arrival, from the Halo 4 OST, one of the best gotta say!
Then props to Daniel Cudmore since he's able to perform these amazing stunts... don't need to go overboard and discuss about body acting in suits. Many Hollywood movies have had actors wear much bigger suits than the chief's. This isn't the first.

i think the master chief suite looks awesome.only thing they could have made better was made the colour or the finishing of the suite to look less plastic and more futuristic heavily used-high tech metal alloy armour.in halo 3 and in reach the armour looks well used and battered around the edges and curves ,in this real life suite its just the dull army green..other then the colour the suite details are spot on
