I am so glad this video exists today. Thank you for the organization ideas.

I love how well organized everything is! We used to homeschool at our kitchen table, too. Our homeschool "ROOM" isn't even a room. It is just the breakfast nook right off of the kitchen and livingroom, so it isn't a closed off space. I have a more in-depth video about the room coming in the future.

+A Common Life Thanks!! I think with limited space, you have to be organized or it just won't work! 😊 I'm looking forward to your more in depth video 😀

we have a room that we use for the office/toy/game /library/school room. we use to do school in that room, but the toys were causing to much of a disruption during table time. So it has ultimately turned into the on going legos projects on the floor room and we school all over the house! A bookshelf is my best friend for organizing school stuff for the current years work and I also have a bin for each child to keep their daily work in. I use a over the door shoes organizer for extra supplies. this might work great for you with some of the flash cards. thanks for sharing!

+Creekside Homeschoolers Thank YOU for sharing! I love hearing how everyone has their supplies and curriculum set up. 😊 Seems like everyone has something different that works best for them!

We do have a small homeschool room but I would love to have a basement. We lack a lot of storage in our home so while I'm thankful for the space we do have for a classroom, I do find myself wishing we had other spaces like a basement or upstairs. The grass is always greener for me. 😜 Really smart idea to use the dish pans to store your kiddos books and such.

+SweetlyHome - Mandi Thanks, Mandi! Your homeschool room is beautiful, but I can't imagine not having a basement!

You have certainly made the most of the space you do have! I love that cupboard. And I think you are right - kids wander and like to roam anyway.

A blast from the past! I would love to see the kiddos at that age... before Wesley, Zarah was the baby? I love your hair that length also.
You did a great job on showing how you keep your supplies and stay organized.

I really love the idea of having a bin for each kiddo to grab. We have a small house too and a little closet we could put bins in. Definitely an idea I’ll be remember as the kiddos get bigger!

This is so applicable to our situation as we do things so similarly! Current stuff in the cabinet by the kitchen, books in the bedroom, and extra curricula on shelves in the basement! LOL. Kindred spirits. 😉 Thank you for the encouraging video!

This is a great video, best ones out there for small space. Due to COVID, My son will be doing remote learning this year. And I searched & searched for ideas.

Thanks for sharing this. We are similar to you. And since I started home schooling 5 years ago, I have wanted to have a space where we have one of those huge shelves that take over a whole wall to store our stuff in. It is definitely my desire to have everything in one place, too. But I guess if God wants me to have that, He'll give it to me in His good timing. In the mean time, I am learning many different ways to be creative with space on a very limited budget :)

+For His Glory I agree! I would love one of those huge shelves! But yes, it sure does test our creativity and organization skills to work with what we have! 😀

Love the video! I had to laugh... I couldn't tell if it was your kids yelling or mine! 😂 My kids are outside in this heatwave we are having! It is 91 degrees!
