Man i just played it on an emulator and i almost cried when is heard these menu sounds. The sound while switching the track and the bg music. Its so fricking nostalgic, i never thought i woukd have nostalgia
@@thegabe7548 really? the track is only just a straight line with a turn every now and again. I used to love the track as a kid but now I get drowsy when playing this track because all I have to do is press the acceleration button and im set.
Holy shit, the air gun sound when clicking on things, the maps, the characters, the special photo opportunities spots, the character special abilities, the voice actor lines, the music. This was my son’s second favorite CARS ds game (first being MaterNational), he also had Cars 2, but MaterNational and Race O Rama have special places in my son’s heart. He’s since grown up and is in college now, I should find these games and play them with him, it’s been a few years, but I still can play a ds just as good as a kid can! Of course my son will beat me, but it’s the memories we make while playing that count.

yeah theres a way to escape the the track and freeroam on radiator springs, tailfin pass, motoropolis, and i think santa carburera. i forgot the tracks or method, but i think one of the freeway ramps on motoropolis you can angle properly and jump the barrier. tailfin pass you can use the big dirt path next to the road to jump a barrier as well.

And I love the voice overs lmao. but the postcards and wrenches was so difficult for me wth! 😂 and you have that yellow thingy that you also have to collect bro, I was struggling 😂

I just beat the ps3 version of the game and wow I don’t know if its bias or not but the DS version was way better. More track variety, better track design, simple menus rather than an empty open world I really need to play the DS version again, it was my life as a kid haha

And for a glitch at level 13:37, go to 13:53 and go all the way to the end of the barriers to the left. There is a gap there and you can explore another part of the map that shouldnt be accessible in this level
I had a Nintendo ds but i think i Lost it because i moved so much my parents are annoying we move to a new house every year they never stay in one place I'm tired of damn moving if they would do what they are supposed to do we wouldn't have this problem
Here's an idea: cop the recruit ds. With these driving games the touch screen shouldn't be needed(or at least not much) to play these games. You can try bizhawk for rewind(though i can't guarantee it will sync). With me being stuck on Linux I dont have many options..
