Hey the esperanto is in gta V! It is the police cruiser for North Yankton, I remember thinking it was funny that a white Roman taxi chases us when I first played the prologue
Such an odd car to use as a police vehicle. Not only as Romans cab, but it's like a Cadillac / Lincoln design. So using it for a cop car seems even more odd lol
@@DevyKins in reality it's a very powerful and heavily underrated muscle car, the quality of which is poorly represented in both iv and v. it's less famous because of its super basic boxy design unlike the famous flowing curves or aggressive grills of other popular classic muscle cars, but it goes toe to toe with them all the same, even being near the top of the pile since it's much newer. Normal version of Sabre that is similar to Faction(which also technicly wasnt in GTA 5 it was only added much later in Online). Contender too which was my favourite pickup in GTA IV, there is a very obscure variant of it as a technical truck, but civilian version is missing. Others from top of my head would be normal/short Rancher, Huntley Sport aswell.
Knowing Rockstar they will definitelly use the name for a totally different car or even vehicle. Just like the Vortex and Avenger. The Vortex used to be an hovercraft in many 3D GTAs but they turned it into a racing bike in GTA Online while, the Avenger used to be a simple vintage bike in Liberty City Stories but they turned it into a VTOL plane in GTA Online
I desperately want the GTA 4 Esperanto and Admiral in GTA 5. I know the Esperanto is “technically” in 5, but it is practically impossible without mods. It also is a snow covered cop car with no civilian variant. Cool, but not practical in Sunny Los Santos.
6:25 Some trivia about the Feroci: In the "GTA V Beta Hunt" thread on gtaforums, people managed to find unused strings relating to Feroci. I don't remember the full details, but the gist of it is that what they found were not leftovers from GTA 4, Rockstar did actually have plans to bring this car back for GTA 5 but cut it.
Some of these cars got huge similarities with cars that do appear on GTA V/GTAO. For example, Faction on IV/GTAO greatly resembles Majestic from GTA SA in terms of shape etc. so that's probably why they never re-made the classic one.
A few days ago, after visiting some GTA Wiki pages, I noticed that some cars only appeared in one or a few games of the series. This was the type of video I was looking for.
8:26 Isn't the Huntley's role taken by Baller because the Huntley became a Bentley? But fr, we do need a Range Rover Classic in GTAO; maybe this time around it will be the Baller Classic.
Nice vid. In the latest update the Chavos did return as the Chavos V6 based on a recent Honda Accord. The theory goes that this and a few other recent additions will be NPC cars in GTA 6.

It's mostly the muscle cars. They always have a hard time with consistency between the Stallion, Phoenix, etc. Then they invent new cars like the Ruiner, Dukes, Gauntlet, Dominator, etc to make it more complicated. The contemporary muscle cars are technically the same models as their older counterparts, at least they would be in real life. Dominator could be Stallion LX, for instance. Or would it be Dukes LX... I really don't know which is which. There are so many fricken muscle cars that I can't even name them all. But meh, I guess it helps to distinguish the old cars from the new. But then why are there other cars that share the names between old and new models: Sentinel, Perennial, Landstalker, Cheetah, Coquette- Speaking of which, how about the Banshee vs Coquette naming? I guess back in the Vice City days, the Banshee was just "a cool sports car", not a specific model. But then when GTAIV came around, they had both versions of the car at the same time, so something had to give. Coquette is more fitting of a name, anyway, I guess... Teehee.. It sounds kind of like Corvette... And then there's the SUV and pickup truck situation. They keep mixing up the Rancher, Landstalker, and other vehicles. And to make matters worse, they invented the Baller, which is a Land Rover, but the Landstalker name is a parody of Land Rover, so it should have been what the Baller is... AAAAH!
