I don't think Jr realizes how good of an interviewer he is. Great job as always really enjoyed this one especially going outside the box of racing.

Luke should be eligible for the upcoming Hall of Fame vote, and I believe he 100% deserves the honor of a first ballot induction. One of the greatest players ever without a doubt

He was very good for ~3-5 seasons but look at the careers of first ballot linebackers, you are talking the best to ever do it and I dont think he quite had the longevity of greatness to be mentioned in the Singletary, Lewis echelon. Heck, Sam Mills was better if you look at the totality of his career.

He led the league in tackles, passes defended and interceptions by linebackers from the time he came into the league till he retired….he was the best at his position for an 8 year career, he’s a hall of famer

I typically don’t watch a full interview but hearing two of the best in their respective sport talking about similar traumatic brain injuries cutting their careers short is a must listen regardless if you’re a NASCAR or NFL fan. This is a must watch/listen

Thank you for having Luke on your program. I have been wanting to hear him speak on his career, experiences, and life after being on the field.
Dale, I remember when you started doing these podcast, you said it was a way to help to connect with your dad. Plus, you wanted to document the history of NASCAR. Your interview style has developed over time and is very smooth. I like how you let the person you are interacting with complete their thoughts.
    Thank you.

Luke was and is my favorite Carolina Panther ever! As a fan living in the Charlotte area it is great that he is still around the team and the community. I was at the Thursday night game against New Orleans when he was carted off of the field. It was sold out and you could hear a pin drop. It was such a gut punch. It warms this fans heart to see him doing well.

I have always appreciated Luke’s on field performance and professionalism. Hearing him talk about the variety of topics in detail during this interview shows how much effort he puts into mentally training himself on all of the details of any topic. This is what sets him apart from many others, his ability to do the study ahead of doing the task. Amazing guy, excellent conversation!

So many of us dont have access (or at least feel like we dont) to a guy like Mickey Collins. Super greatful to hear discussions with this. These discussions along with Dale's book helped me majorly with some issues I dealt with. Hearing the story of the baseball player with the current going one way and the boat going the other wiping them out hit me so hard. A lot of people dont realize it can be something that simple that can put you out. Thanks for having these discussions for all of us to learn from!

Love Luke Kuechly. For some reason, thought he went to Linebacker U (Penn St). Really great to hear these stories and awesome that they shared their respective experiences with concussions. Having played football for 14 years and lacrosse for 7, I have had my fair share of diagnosed concussions and a few undiagnosed ones. I still struggle with the aftermath of TBI. Awesome show, boys.

When Luke touched on him knowing it was time and he had like one game left. He didnt want to do it in training camp etc. I instantly thought of Andrew Luck and the backlash he faced. I always disliked the hate Luck got for that. I always saw it as he wanted to try/play so bad but after all the offseason drills/camps he knew he could not be himself after trying.
