- In this video I show how a formal sequence must be trained to become realistic. In particular in the Praying Mantis style it is necessary to emphasize the work of the steps to angle towards the opponent and be unpredictable for him.
The same procedure can however be used with sequences of other styles: from the poetry of form to the vastness of reality.

@@DanteBasili Excellent video. I just about an hour ago practiced a very similar technique on the day of remembrance of my Teacher Yang Fansheng. The teacher devoted a lot of time to the connection between Xinyiquan Che and Shuaijiao. He showed how, for example, to use Zuanquan in combination with sweeps and throws. A very subtle and at the same time, very powerful combination of efforts converging at one point.
