As a settler just beginning to understand Indigenous cultural practices and working together with Indigenous artists and storytellers, this was extremely helpful in assisting me to do the right things. We are stumbling together toward this understanding and we will all be much richer in the end because of it.
Settler? Did you time travel from the 1800s?
So what are these protocols? Tell us.
I am soooo grateful and PROUD to be me in this world today, and more so that MY, OUR CHILDREN will too!! So very important that we understand, we are ALL important and our original instructions from CREATION must be heard, LEARNED!!! " WITHOUT PEOPLE, MOTHER EARTH WILL KEEP GOING, WITHOUT MOTHER EARTH, WE THE PEOPLE WILL NOT"
Thank you so much for this clear and helpful video.
I'm very grateful for this and will share widely.
I support patronage of the arts in Canada.
Thank you this is a great '' eye opener'' without maken anything wrong, but just standing for awareness...
i think it is essential to keep these sacred stories myths history..pure and truthful
Important video. Wonderful camera work. Horrible sound recording. As an award winning filmmaker I will be happy to create videos for OAC with better recorded sound.
Love how the video is, overall an inspiring video, and truly a masterpiece!
Im leaving my family (and tribes)for about a year with the Military. I want to draw the spirit of the people around me but I don't know how.
Sierra Angeleen Hidatsa Taigueii/Hello! Pray to answer your question. Jajom for your service! Seneko Saracú! Many blessings to you! 🙏🏽
It is sad that the cultural misappropriation still continues...even after all the artifacts that are caged in museums - otherwise respectful artists feel a need or "right" to wear cloaks of pretence.
Replace the word "Protocols" with the word "Spirit" and these statements make sense.
Thank you for this really helpful video.
The problem isn't appropriation because all systems are built on previous learning whether it be science, math, medicine or art. Living in a 7+ billion world population there is going to be reappropriation thanks to social media. Unfortunately, it comes down to who has the most appealing narrative.
Great, informative
This is like a scientology video. Nothing but buzzwords being thrown about.
