The producer of the game also comments on the status of Dragon Ball GT Characters

Every super and ultimate can be deflected in RB2. The flaw is this can be done no matter the direction you’re facing and no resource needed. Learned this cause he did instant transmission kamehameha, I blocked he teleports behind me and fires it and while my back is facing him the deflect cutscene would play. Now neither of us could land supers on each other. We went to BT3 and found it to be like RB but with tons more depth. Still a good game. I loved the art style, the fact it gave us a OVA that hasn’t seen western eyes at all, the item load out system is my favorite out of all the dragon ball games I played and I loved the costume selection, the changeable auras (making a SSJ2 Future Gohan was a favorite memory of mine) and what if characters. Game did a ton right. It just couldn’t hold my interest as long as bt3 did.

People gotta realize that GT and OG series will be DLC down the line. They aren’t a marketable priority like more recent content (DBS, SuperHero, Daima etc). We seen Xenoverse and Fighterz include those characters so ofc SZ will. It’s just not a big priority rn

With that in mind while it could mean a higher chance there will be gt characters, it could equally mean a lesser chance because you can't hint any unknown character slots.
I think we’ll get GT characters starting with the 4th DLC. Right now, DBZ, DBS and Daima are the top priorities. While yes they could’ve still done GT on top of that, they probably want them as DLC to make the game last longer and because they can get extra money out of it. This is the same with the DBZ movies

As much as people seem to not like Raging Blast, I liked how they saved slots by allowing you to customize each characters loadout.
I don’t know why people hate raging blast. That game was fun, the only downside for me was that ssj4 gogeta wasn’t in the game 😅
