Thanks for sharing the process. Keep the videos coming... waiting patiently for my kit to arrive... I love the hands-on quality control of each fowler...
Thanks for the comment and the business. Katherine is working on bothering Jim more to let folks in on the process. She finds it interesting and figures others will too!
Cool man cool. I'm so excited. I just got the email that mine is ready to ship. Thank you for what you do it has brought me and my sons into an entire world that we didn't know was out there.
I got my Fowler (16 gauge, walnut) earlier in the week and it's going to be beautiful. Worth the wait. A big thank you to Jim and Katherine and everyone else on the Kibler team who have worked so hard to get these guns (honestly, functional works of art and history) designed, built, and into the hands of customers. I really appreciate the videos you folks have put out over the years as well. I always learn something. As it turns out, I've been spending the past week happily finishing bookcases with Tried & True varnish oil -- a product I never would have learned about if I hadn't watched Jim's video a while back on finishing curly/figured maple.
There was mentioned in an earlier video that you would produce a stain that would closely mimic the English walnut and what the originals looked like. Any idea when that stain will be ready? I absolutely love this kit.
I recently ordered a woods runner kit and I received the kit about a week ago . I just had to say it was very well done l am very Pleased with it.more businesses should follow JIm kibler example
Thanks for your video. I really respect what you do. I have a question. Usually, your products are some kind of pastiche. Compilation from several samples. Tell me, please, do you have plans to produce a replica of a specific rifle without deviations from the original model?
All right I got what is probably a dumb question. i’m pretty new to the world muzzleloading and I got my first rifle kit and I wish it was yours but it’s not and I lost one of the two barrel pins can I replace it with a brass rod? or will that warp snap and bend on me when I go to shoot it. 50cal Kentucky rifle. also when I got the money I plan on picking up when each of your kits, absolutely love you guys🙏
Your attention to detail is right on point Jim! Beautiful work sir. 👌
Thank you so much!

Love your dog supervising the shop Jim.
You will see Biscuit, the orange/tan mutt, Daisy the golden doodle, and Winston the pittbull mix all doing their part to keep the shop in-line!
A true Craftsman at work! Very nice Jim!
Thank you kindly
Excellent video, as always! Thanks for the marvelous instruction in dressing up carvings.

This is what separates a Kibler from the others. Thank you.
Thanks!
Ordered my woodsrunner about a week and a half ago, my girlfriend tells me I'm worse than a 10 year old waiting for Santa !
We have a 6 year old and patience is most definitely a problem. Your poor girlfriend lol
Jim, the bevel on your chisel is perfect. Do you use a sharpening system?

I ordered a 16 gauge Fowler in walnut… maybe this one’s mine!?!? 😅
We are working through it! Hopefully yours is soon

Yeah, about anything the right diameter will work. Brass would work, but mild steel, perhaps a finishing nail etc, would be better.
@@jimkibler786 thanks🙏
Do you sell good riffler files like Jim is using in this video?
Can I get one that hasn't been handled because I really enjoy doing that kind of work
Once you see all the videos let me know if you would like that-I bet we could accommodate that!
-Katherine
I would like that also!
