Fitting the Fowler Buttplate - The Kibler Difference

Here is the second video in the short series where we show what steps we take in-house to make sure that our customers have a great experience with their Kibler kit. This video not only shows why the fowler kits take a little longer to get out the door and cost a little more, but it also has tips for any other gun or kit builders when it comes to fitting a buttplate. The hardware on the fowler is brass so Jim shows how he bends and hammers the buttplate to get a better fit. I hope you enjoy or find it helpful. Katherine

Is it possible to be iron butt plate, etc rather than brass?

These butt plates are cast from a mold and are specifically set up for brass. You would probably have to do that yourself.
