I’m going to be honest when the game launched I was playing exclusively Ken. Then Akuma drops so I switched. I would go back to Ken from time to time he just felt different and i wasn’t having the same success as I did with Akuma
It's very cathartic seeing Daigo lose to Ryu. Daigo and Ryu were in a serious relationship, but Daigo was unfaithful and cheated on Ryu after all they've been through. All because Ken was better at launch. Now Daigo broke up with Ken and is with Akuma. I feel like after a little while he'll come crawling back to Ken tho since he doesn't seem to be winning as much with Akuma for now.
@@deityzeash2522 Daigo was never faithful to a character. He played Guile in SF2, Ken in 3S, dropped Ryu for Yun at the end of SF4 and started SF6 as Ken again... idk where everyone gets these ideas from. He's very hype as Ryu but he was never a one-character kind of player.
@@tyrfangI agree. We only really know him for his SF4 Ryu play and honestly, it was for good damn reason. It was probably his best character in any game, even more notorious than his Ken in 3rd Strike. He was truly a monster with him in that game, as well as Evil Ryu. I really do think he should grind it out with Ryu again, but he might personally be too tired and familiar with the character to want to. I dont think he can hide behind the good old "he's not strong enough in meta" excuse anymore. It just isn't true now
