Tokido has always been one of the few players if not the only player to unleash Akuma's full potential. It's starting to look like it again in SF6. Truly the GOAT of Akuma players.
What I see happening a lot is people trying to interrupt it, and getting counter hit for a million damage. I think eventually people will start jumping as a more reliable way to react to it.
Imo they finally did akuma right st8 out the gate.... His power is definitely where it should be the only thing I think that might need a tweak is his walk speed again imo😉
People say all sorts of things because it's free. The grab is really useful, especially when your opponent is fearing for their lives with their butts glued to the wall
For most pro players, they just simply don't care about that stuff, they more focus on the game itself, how fighting mechanics work and strategies. I'm a casual gamer so I'm more likely to customise all that stuff 😅
Pro/hardcore players dont care about bells and whistles, thats for the casual crowd. Its like SFV vanilla, casuals complained about lack of single player content while hardcore complain about the system mechanics. Two different groups.
I like Tokido but he is kinda stuck in the past if he sets his BG to only training stage. Did nobody tell him that training stage is banned at tourneys? (Especially CPT events)
Yeah I myself am also getting better but a lot slower in sf6 compared to sfv. The game is so explosive and everyone can delete akuma in 2 combos pretty much

Who said anything about being better than OTHER players? Being better can mean better than YOURSELF before. And how does online ranking come into play in a tournament setting? Dude wasn't ranked higher than any one in 2017 yet he still won EVO that day.

It was a mistake. He wanted to do OD Tatsu but got the Teleport instead because he uses a macro for 3 kicks
it was a strange move, level 2 would have killed. as someone said he wanted ex tatsu most likely but it sort of worked out, tokido is one of the best
From 6:18 you can see he successfully did the same combo vs JP. As Wayne said, he messed doing OD Tatsu.
Finally the démon is back to it's master. W8 for this since he stopped playing Akuma in STF 5.
