      oh man, they a great. i am a sport bike rider myself. yamaha R1. these indian challengers are amazing for how big and heavy they are. they do not feel heavy tho. long rides, just cruising around or spirited riding. they do it all. i have a video of me on tail of the dragon with it a week after i picked it up

    yeah you can just buy a wireless carplay adapter and keep it in the cubby. did the same thing on my africa twin and just used velcro to stick it to the inside fairing next to the forks.

    i like your review, expecially coming from someone that road sport bikes. Im thinking im going to trade in my triumph street triple in for a challenger. Always rode sport bikes but after i just got done with a 12 hour ride with friends i was in so much pain. these look so comfertable and i think im at that point where i want to ride longer distances

    There are a couple UA-cam videos on Apple Car that have good instructions. PlayApple Car Play is awesome on this bike but you need the Quad Lock Adapter. Wedge it into the cubby hole sideways to keep the connection from getting loose and disconnecting. I wear a full face Shoei but with the 1/2 helmet just put the Cardo or Sena in your cubby hole. Just remember to turn it on AFTER STARTING THE BIKE AND LETTING THE PHONE CONNECT TO THE BIKE. THEN CONNECT THE Sena to the phone not the bike.
    I’m on my second Challenger and they are awesome!

    • @justjae706
      @justjae706  2 місяці тому

      Yeah I figured it out. I got one of those wireless CarPlay adapters and put my sena in the bag.

    I used to ride super sports as well. Ive had two R1's and one R6. When I rode the challanger last summer it blew my freaking mind! I compared it to riding my R1 again due to how hard and fast it pulled. I havent had a smile like that in a while when riding a bike lol

    Traded mine, had unresolved issues. Did a lateral trade. The Challenger is by far superior to any HD. The bike has its shortcomings though. No bike is perfect. For me, the bike was top heavy, the seating position is not ideal. I couldn’t find a decent set of handlebars or a seat. Everything is $$$. I don’t understand why bikes don’t come with adjustable seats and bars and foot rest? We’re all different.

    Anyone that drives a crotch rocket I tried one last time when I was younger and her fast but I don't get into the way that they you got to bend over that's for young people once you get a little older and wiser you want a cruiser that has everything on it you want to be able to kick back on the bike and move your feet around on a footboard and different things like that everyone that knows what I'm talking about knows what I'm talking about the other people just don't know that yet but they will especially if they love to ride like I have all my life. I would never buy an Apple phone and I don't care about that but I have a Samsung and I hook it up into that right pocket on the Fairing and with a USB and it keeps my phone charged and it's Bluetooth and everything on the phone everything goes on the screen like it would on my phone but for some reason when my friend calls everything comes up his name comes up on the screen or whoever calls but they can hear me kind of but I can't hear them so what's happening is I'm doing something wrong or it's not transferring the sound through the speakers of the bike or it's not doing that because of the Apple carplay thing or something when he was talking about so if anyone has any ideas or some buttons on there for like muting and there's a couple little buttons where you could see where it has a speaker so either I'm not having one of them open or something I'm doing wrong or it's because of that Apple carplay goofiness or whatever or you have to take the phone out of the cubby hole and talk through the phone like normal and not through that speaker if that's all that's wrong with the bike no big deal I got one about a week ago and a limited it's awesome when on a long ride yesterday in Wisconsin through the back roads bike has power smooth comfortable stereo sounds good I don't have them in the bags yet but this fall I'm going to have it stored in that shop for free and they're going to upgrade the stereo and put those back in the bags and they're going to put lights on the front and on the back of the bags LEDs and that'll be good for me I don't have it on loud but I want to have it sound real good when I'm listening to it just like riding a motorcycle All My Life music and bikes are a big deal to me. It's got plenty of power took me awhile to get hang of that power in first gear I had to keep it in standard and it still has too much torque at the beginning until I got the hang of the clutch I have a Stratoliner Deluxe also my friends buying a 1900 belt driven a lot of power and torque but not like this the way it's geared or whatever. Put at the end of the day I had it down and it's fun riding it for sure it's got a lot of power you got all the goodies on it can't go wrong with that bike now if you like to ride a crotch rocket which I think are kind of dumb they don't do anything for me the way you sit on them and they're dangerous and people get stupid on them not everybody but people do now if you got the money to have that Ducati that's a badass bike and you can have a cruiser too or a tour bike you know like this one here then do it have both of them then

    • @justjae706
      @justjae706  2 місяці тому

      I have a sport bike and a bagger, I like both bikes. They are different rides.
      One is mean only to go fast around turns and be like a bullet in a straight line.
      The other is comfortable but still quick enough to have fun with. All depends on how I’m feeling on which one I ride or how far I’m going. Sport bikes aren’t for everyone, but they are no more dangerous than a bagger/cruiser. It’s all about who’s riding the bike. People get dumb on sport bikes, I’ve seen people do dumb stuff on cruisers too. It just is what it is.
      But you need some kind of headset for it to work on your phone. I think most people use the Otto cast for Samsung.
