I know a girl who started pumping concrete at 16, two years ago, passed her CDL at 18,5 past april and runs a Cifa 56 meter. She is a very capable pumper and had great mentors.
Such a great career, especially when you can get into it at an early age as you did. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d still pump 3-4 days per week (or more) just because. Congrats on the brand new machine my man 👌👌👌
Nice to see people my age starting to get in the business. I also started at 17, am now 22 running pumps for the old man here in Sask. Your videos have helped me tremendously in the many trials and tribulations of becoming a good pumpy lol.
That’s awesome man! Running 22 rigs is no joke. We have had as many as 15, but find things much more manageable running just 8-10. Lack of good people willing to do this type of work for a living has played a large part in this (the astronomical costs of living out west here hasn’t helped much either). I do appreciate the kinds words brother 🙏
Running big pumps can get old real fast. 38-40 meter Z-boom is the perfect size for seeing a good variety of work. I’m happiest on a mid-sized machine, or been dare I say…. a line pump. My favourite part of the job is the people I get to work worth. I find the line-pumps smaller booms are just more hands-on, which I really enjoy.
@@canadianconcretepumper1979 oui moi je travail avec une cifa 47 carbone, elle son compacte et nous arrivons à faire 90%des pompage. 😊 Bonjour depuis la Belgique camarade 👋👋
Lol ran placing boom this morning, now watching you do a nice mat pour. Never ran a 57m alliance, but it looked pretty stable. Still think my 56m will out do it, ya know, being a Putzmeister and all lol Cool video for sure
Enjoy your videos I'm training up on a 38z with Richie from conco. In the states pumping is a hard job and takes a certain type. Keep it up man. Let it eat!
One of, in not THE best in the business Conco is. Pumping definitely requires a very unique personality and skill set. Most who cannot learn to love it don’t last.
It’s such a great career if one can get in early. Most all of the great operators whom I know of started out very young. I have not seen too great of a success rate with late 20’s and older getting into this industry. I think the key is coming into it with zero sense of entitlement and just excited to get out there, pound the hours, and enjoy some nice pay checks.
There’s only really one smaller company in our area which runs Schwing. But a few hours North of us is Normac Concrete Pumping who run a good size fleet of them. Other areas of the country they are very popular as well. I think mostly because we have several manufacturers setup locally (Concord, KCP, Alliance, and a Putzmeister dealership as well as a service center which specializes in them) is why Schwing is not more common. I do think they make one of the best concrete pumps on the market, it mostly just comes down parts and service availability in any given region.
We’re very fortunate in that the materials which we pump around here are not overly coarse. A good set of ConForms twin-wall pipe usually lasts is in excess of 125,000 cubic yards.
Alliance pump kit variance is pointless. Let me bring topanga down there and those alliance pumps can take a break. I’m sure they are tired and/or about to break down.
I sold out and monetized. But all proceeds (roughly $35 per month) I can assure you will be invested back into sponge balls and bags of powdered bentonite 😁
I know. I think that was literally lesson #1 in the formula for building a successful UA-cam channel. I’m just tradesman, I don’t listen to nor follow the “rules” lol!!!! I’m definitely going to work on a little more “polish” for the channel in 2023. My video premiering this Saturday is actually the first in which I figured out how to insert text onto the screen. I’m quite proud of my 43 year old self for this 😂😂😂
Nice to see family working together, I'am a big fan of parents working with their children. Ray
Great video, real sounds with no music.

I have high hopes for some this up and
coming batch of teenagers. Any sense of work ethic seems to have escaped the vast majority of my generation.
I’m 19 running a brand new 43 meter, started at 17, learned from my dad as well. Couldn’t be happier, I absolutely love my job

I like the trick on the 57m’s end hose with the safety strap keeps it tight a little to keep the hose straighter
I’m actually not certain of the was by design, or just stumbled upon something great 😂

We DEFINITELY have to get them side-by-side on a future pour and see which on reigns supreme!

Best video yet 👍
I would have to agree. Next time we’ll have to get a candid interview from the teenage pump sensation himself! 😁😁😁
Haha yes for sure 👍
4,000 yards? Won’t that cause Canada to tilt to one side?
How come schwings are not so popular in Canada

It’s the fuel consumed which is really the bottom line killer.
Ooh yeah.

Sheesh, you’re like a Putzmeister bully. I think one of these Alliance pumps needs to come punch you right square in your proverbial nose!!! 😂😂😂
What's going on? You have to many views, I had to watch adds.

Lol
Put it on 10 and walk away
I’ve actually heard stories of guys pumping these types of jobs from the porta-potty 😂😂😂
