Cute movie with a talented cast. Included in that cast, and listed last in the credits, is one of the silent screen's greatest comedians, Harry Langdon. He is now considered in the same league with Chaplin. Lloyd and Keaton.
This film was directed and co-written by the dance director LeRoy Prinz who choreographed the Electricity dance in DeMille's 1930 "Madame Satan." Every once in a while, Hollywood let him display his great gift for weirdness.

Fun film...but needs more Frances Langford.
Frances Langford played a lot of Army shows to entertain the troops in WWII with Bob Hope. Noah Beery Jr. and Alan Hale Jr. We're son's of wonderful male actors in the 1930's and 40's
They could hardly be mistaken for women.
"Some like it hot" was a warmed over version of this movie.
Because they both feature men dressed as women? That's the only similarity I can see, but it ain't much
You have this in a collection titled "the best film noir full length...". This is not Film Noir by any stretch of the imagination. Just because it was released in 1941 doesn't make it Noir.

This film didnt make sense. There must have been alot of cuts to key scenes, that should be there to tell the story.
I know this is a light musical, but the story has to work.

Really! I never EVER understood more modern Hollywood insisting on the skinniest, most skin and bones, anorexic girls being the hottest and most beautiful. Of course girls are sexier with a little meat on them. It's modern Hollywood you can thank for brainwashing girls into thinking that with even a little meat on them like with the girls in this movie, that they're one small step away from being an obese whale!

Campy movie. However, I did enjoy it for what it was, in spite of the horrible message about women and their place in society.
