Nice video! Since a month i own an Pegaso too! But how do you check the oil? Do you need to do that with a cold engine or do you need to drive and check after?
The correct way to check the oil is when engine is warm, after approximately 15km drive or more, then heck it. But when you check, dont screw the dip stick, just dip ir in and out, motorcycle on vertical position.
Let the engine run for about 5 minutes according to the manual.
If you change the oil at the aprilia dealership, obviously they are not going to ride your motorcycle 20Km to see the oil level.

AND TOPPING UP
Read carefully 1.2.2 (ENGINE OIL) and 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION).
Check oil every 500 km.
◆ Switch off engine and let it to cool down for at least ten
minutes, thus allowing the oil to flow back into the oil
pan and cool down.
◆ Switch on engine again and let it idle for at least one
minute in order to fill the oil tank.
◆ Switch off the engine.
◆ Keep vehicle in a vertical position, with both wheels
resting on the ground.
If you fail to carry out the above operations
you will risk making an incorrect measurement of the oil level.
◆ Unscrew and take out the plug/dipstick (1)
◆ Clean the part in contact with the oil with a clean cloth.
◆ Insert plug/dipstick completely into inlet hole (2) without screwing it.
◆ Take out plug/dipstick again (1) and read the oil level:
MAX = maximum level.
MIN = minimum level.
The difference between “MAX” and “MIN” is circa
300 cmC.
◆ The level is correct if oil approximately reaches the
“MAX” mark on the dipstick.
Do not exceed the “MAX” mark nor allow oil to
go below the “MIN” mark in order to avoid serious damage to the engine
You did it backwards. According to the service manual you are supposed to drain the tank plug first then the bottom engine plug. You're also supposed to clean the secondary tank filter with compressed air. What is up with the capacity? It should take 2.2 l including the filter change, but you say to add 1.6 first, then add another liter?
Hi, can I ask what king od O-ring did you use on the oil filter? Mine filter didnt come with O-ring
It should've come with o-ring. Try googling it, you should find the answer.

First, ad 1.6L, crank the engine with your killswitch off until you see oil coming out. Then add the remaining. drive the motorcycle a bit till it gets warm wait for it to cool doen and add more if needed (check dip stick)

It should be 2,2l maximum capacity. If you add 1,6 than another 1l you will overfill it.
@@xozart9785 , everytime we just simply want to check the oil , without changing the oil and oil-filter , the engine should be previously well warmed and the dip stick should be fully screwed or not ? Thanks for our reply , if any !!

Dar raktelius antrus kažkur namie turėčiau turėt 🤣
Jeigu nori, galėčiai papasakoti pats kiek žinau apie jį (pas mane buvo gal 7 metus bet neperregistruotas), ką dariau (nedaug), ir raktelius atsiusčiau jei rasčiau progą kaime jų paieškoti. Jylį į Kauną pardaviau lyg užpraeitais metais.

What type of oil did you put in it ?
10w40
Recommended engine oil:
IP SUPERBIKE 4, SAE 5W - 40.
As an alternative to the recommended oil, high quality oils
with performance conforming or superior to CCMC G-4,
A.P.I.SG. specifications may be used.
@@SV1HFK would not sweat the oil recommendation on a 20yo bike... It's impossible to buy oil as bad as what the service manual recommends.
at first u need to wash a bike !!
