    You get that alot with thunder model's PE copper and brass! The scammels are the same quite good if need a stronger bit of PE to.the easy bend copper PE the copper frets are good to keep hold of for making small parts from being copper easy to manipulate

    Good review, just wondering what is it that you don't like about Mig paints? I haven't used them myself.

    • @longlance67
      @longlance67  6 років тому +3

      My experiences with them has never been good, I've done a video in the past about them compared to other acrylics which feel free to check out in my video library.
      but in short I find his paints not to be user friendly and though MIG has released a few videos over the last year showing how easy it is to use, I find them to quite the opposite. These are paints that are so temperamental that if don't paint exactly like MIG does they don't want to work. They run, spider web or simply evaporate on the model surface if you do the slightest thing wrong.
      And their are so many paints out there that do the job just as good if not better then the MIG range so I don't see the point investing the time trying to make his products work.
      Least these are my feelings on this
      Shane.

    its nice to see one of these up close, thanks for the review shane :) i think thunder models can make things so interesting for us, because so far they have released kits of weird, but very much desired vehicles.

      ya they are hitting the market with the lesser seen subjects like Takom used to do, and great to see as might make manufacturers stop releasing the same kits again and again.

    Nice review Shane. The kit looks really nice and well molded. The copper PE is interesting and I'm sure it will look great. Sure like to see the build when you get to it. Thanks for sharing and cheers to you.

    Nice looking kit. Never heard of this brand until recently... very intrigued. AndI like the idea of copper for PE... much more maleable than brass.

    Never heard of this company before but it looks a nicely detailed kit. What sort of price so their kits sell for?

    • @longlance67
      @longlance67  6 років тому

    Good review Shane. Very interesting kit but in my opinion the detial level could be better. Pay your attention at seams after cutting the armour plates, it need to be reworked :) This kit is a solid base but require some additional work, after that it should comes out great.
