    Interesting video 🙂 I know of many ley lines on the North American continent. I'm Lakota and know many other people from different tribes. We keep track of the special areas and vibrations that exist. Most of the time we don't speak about it to outsiders because then lots of hippie types show up to gather energy at inappropriate times, unfortunately. I was visiting Cahokia Mounds with my daughters the day before the full solar eclipse that passed through the St Louis Missouri area in the Midwest. Cahokia is a large World Heritage site that was once a city of over 10,000 around circa 1100-1400 CE. Several of the burial mounds are still intact and the largest known as Monk's Mound is not a burial mound but where the leader lived. Anyway, we don't observe the eclipse because of tradition but since my daughters are from Muskogee, Natchez and Hitichi ancestry on their paternal grandmother's side - all of whom were mound builder people, we periodically visit the mounds that were built along the Mississippi River. There are always lots of tourists at Cahokia but many hippies showed up hoping something magical would happen during the eclipse. Lol It's mostly a burial ground so it's unlikely that anything would happen. A lot of people superimpose Christian teachings over Native burial grounds but they have absolutely nothing in common. I know many ley lines cross my reservation in North and South Dakota and all across the Midwest. My tribe follows the astronomical calendar from one power place to the next especially in the summer and ceremonies are held there.

      Fascinating. Maybe we are just jealous that you still have mysteries left? and sacred lands. But many people go into it without an understanding..I guess we may hope that we get some revelation.. apparently revelations are what its all about. (bible joke - oh that was bad)! Fascinating about the mounds, it's something so deep maybe in all of our evolutions.. and somehow we entirely lost it!! You've made a good point about crossing the lands, as nomadic seasonal travellers. and holding seasonal ceremonies.. thanks for sharing that. I can see ot now. You are right to try and keep the energies high, too.

      @@TheWitchInTheWoods Well... you would be able to get in touch with the energies where you live. Your ancestors from generation after generation lived there. There's a site about an hour from me near the Mississippi where several dogs were buried that is estimated to be over 10,000 years old. So our ancestors probably guided their descendants to the same places. The issue is with non-Native people who don't have ancestors here and who have only been here for a few generations. Sometimes they are just looking to understand but when you get lots of people showing up and littering and vandalizing sacred places it's unfortunate. My ancestors and present relatives are very protective over the Black Hills in South Dakota. They were considered to be a holy place of great power. After gold was discovered there and the Treaty was broken, they have continually advocated to get the Black Hills returned. Interestingly, was the gold inside the Hills what made it a place of powerful energy? The power still seems to be there. A lot of strange things happen there too. My son is married to a Kiowa woman and they live on the southern Plains. The Kiowa were originally in the Black Hills but as larger tribes moved into the area, the Kiowa were pushed south. The Cheyenne were living there until my tribe moves westward and although they were allies, my tribe took over most of the ceremonies held there and the land. To this day, the Cheyenne people travel from Montana to do their ceremonies which they've done for over 200 years. So my grandkids have a double attachment to a lot of these places and I think the blending of tribes and traveling around doing ceremonies at certain places enhanced and raised the energies. I think in the areas that are urbanized or farmed heavily with pesticides and insecticides anywhere ley lines exist, it lowers the vibrations to almost a non-existent level. I am always quite dizzy at Cahokia. If my kids weren't part of that culture I wouldn't go there as often. The history there and the land being preserved and the wetlands and the underground rivers all make it an interesting experience. Most Native people don't know a lot about the mounds unless they're part of those older cultures. There are many odd things out west in the mountains and places in the Southwest. A lot of people recognize that there are strange things all over the country and there are. Lol I don't know if places have an extra dimension that opens up at times but I've experienced things and my relatives and friends that are something similar to mythological stories so I think that these continents have many levels of energy.

    Very interesting, leynines, as Alfred Watkins stipulated must consist of at least four sites all in a straight line and can literally be any of length, so can be aligned in a World grid, and also interstellar leylines streaching out into the Cosmos, perhaps infinitely. The pop/performance artist Bill Drummond (KLF), is very interested in this phenomonon, citing his love for Iceland, where, he claims a volcano is a node for an interstellar leyline as it connects Earth to outer space.

    Oh nearly missed this one, its like a hidden knowledge init, secret society etc uses sacred geometry and have been for centuries. It was common knowledge for ancient ancestors I think but we are not taught it all though more and more info is getting out there.
    The Berwyn mountains in Wales where I visited the stone circle recently has a feel of energy and is very mysterious as well.
    I do agree about excavating ancient mounds, archaeology is more sensitive today than it used to be and its good to learn about them but I don't agree with removing goods and bones, sacraligeous

    • @TheWitchInTheWoods
      @TheWitchInTheWoods  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah, most of the damage was done by the antiquarians.. nothing but grave robbers. A few individuals gifted what they found to the nation, but many just sold or melted them down. You wonder why we have not learned these secrets of geometry.. what have they got to hide? But maybe we are in an exciting new era, when governments open up and people begin to believe in the enormous potential of life out there. Then again, we could be in deep sh*t ! Watch this space.

    Bonjour je ne réponds aux questions de votre video tres interressante mais j en pose une autre pensez vous que les lignes Michel ou Marie par exemple et ce sont surtout celles la qui m interresse pourraient avoir des marqueurs vegetaux au sol comme certains arbres ou arbustes ou mêmes plantes qui pousseraient en abondance le long de ces lignes? C'est une idée que j ai mais certains l ont peut être déjà étudié dans un livre? Sylvie

    • @TheWitchInTheWoods
      @TheWitchInTheWoods  2 роки тому +1

      Oui, c'est une idée intéressante et pas celle dont j'avais entendu parler auparavant. Ce serait intéressant de tester ça. De nos jours, la terre est si souvent cultivée qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup d'habitat naturel pour tester la théorie, sauf bien sûr dans le cas des crop circles qui apparaissent parfois à côté de ces sites. C'est une bonne question à poser...
